If they did a proper Daredevil movie, it could blow Nolan's Batman movies out of the water.

I could see Ben Affleck directing it. But only direction.

I remember going to the cinema to watch Daredevil when it first came out, and coming out of it feeling so let down. The story was so bad and i hated everything about electra. Her dance/ fight scenes were the worst!! So I have never watched it again until recently when a friend told me to watch the directors cut version. So I finally agreed and to my amazement it wasnt half bad. Infact it was 10 times better than what was originally released. The new story line in it linked everything together, plus there was alot more darker edgier scenes in it. Its a pity they didnt take out the play ground scene but hey I fast forward it so all was good
But it got me thinking and wanting another movie. I actually liked Ben affleck as Daredevil and Micheal Clarke Dunkan as kingpin. I thought they were awesome. I really liked his costume too. But i would love to see a more darker version of a revamp. I have never read the comics so anything i know about daredevil is from the screen. And from what i have seen i can see he has the potential to be alot more. And with a good director a good script and an over 16s cert i recon it could be amazing. |

A proper Daredevil movie could put the Nolan Batman movies to shame.

Does anyone know the details of the Daredevil contract between Fox and Marvel? Like, after how many years would the rights revert back to Marvel?

What I read recently was Fox signed a 7 year deal for Daredevil, and the movie released in 2003, so the rights would go back to Marvel... BUT the Elektra movie was released in 2005 and Daredevil had a cameo in the film, so the contract would be up in 2012.
That is, if all of this information is true.

It'd be awesome (and yes, I know, unlikely) if at this year's Comic Con, Marvel Studios announced them buying Daredevil back, similar to the news of the Punisher films. It'd be awesome.

The sooner MARVEL get the film rights to Daredevil, X-Men, FF, and any other MARVEL character, from Fox Abattoirs the happier I'll be.
Their alternate re-imaginings of MARVEL super-heroes are quite simply crappy counterfeit versions. MARVEL STUDIOS may not be perfect but least we'll get a True & Faithful adaptation that captures the essence of the characters that does the comic books justice. |

I would love for MCH to be Daredevil. But the more I think about it the more problems or "missteps"
-I've heard from Jensen Ackles and Nathan Fillion that besides filming their respective shows they only get 2-3 months off. True, theirshows usually have 20+ episodes a season but still filming might take 3 months alone (I would guess more) and then they have reshoots. And then MCH would have to train, build some more muscle, etc. -Idk the whole rights situation, but lets say Marvel gets the rights back. It will be put on the long list of properties that they want to get out of the gates after Avengers. Cap 2, Thor 2, IM3, Black Panther, Doctor Strange. Daredevil might be put on the back burner for a bit. But then again...FOX might just put out a bs DD property to retain the rights -I think they should do the origin. I know someone are going to complain that "We already got one!!!11" But looking at the other movie we saw how he got his power, but we didnt really see him put on the costume for the first time and stuff like that which I think should be in the movie and MCH might be too old for a origin story of DD That all being said I wouldnt be close to mad or disappointed if MCH is cast I'll post my full cast later

I'd rather they do a tv show. Imagine a crime/court drama with a superhero in it. Make it gritty. Have the Kingpin in it but never show him. Make it mythical that there is a guy running all of NY's crime. Make a two hour pilot and base it on Frank Miller's The Man without Fear.

Who should be the villains in the next DD movie? I think it be redundant to do Bullseye, Elektra and Kingpin again, they should only have one of those villains in the next movie and have some new villains instead of just recycling the same villains from the previous movie.
