The first Aladdin sequel was pretty enjoyable. The rest, though, yeah...yeah

Yeah, Aladdin had two sequels, the second one had someone else voice Genie and the third one Robin Williams came back to reprise the role. They were not bad to me, I thought they were decent.

Christopher Nolan Converting Inception to 3D?
Christopher Nolan has often voiced his reservations about 3D movies and especially stereoscopic conversions. However, during a recent interview, filmmaker Jonathan Liebesman (director of Wrath of the Titans) surprisingly revealed that Christopher Nolan is currently converting Inception into 3D, with a view to a future 3D Blu-ray release.

Ha, I can't wait for all the Nolan-fans to start talking about how "genius" 3D really is.

Well I am a big Nolan fan but right now I would say this is just a rumor if it isn't coming from Nolan himself. And if it is true we would have to wait and see the results. The reason why most post 3D conversions have failed to impress is because they were done so quickly and poorly... examples Clash of the Titans and The Last Airbender. But James Cameron himself is doing a post 3D conversion with Titanic and he is taking a lot of time and effort on it so who knows how good that is gonna look.

But James Cameron himself is doing a post 3D conversion with Titanic and he is taking a lot of time and effort on it so who knows how good that is gonna look.
The more I watch things in 3D, the less I'm impressed with it. It seems it looks really great for a select few films but others are just flat, even those filmed in native 3D.

Yeah but while you say that I am sure "Christopher Nolan approved 3D conversion of Inception" certainly intrigues you a little. :P

Does anyone own American Psycho on blu-ray? I'd like to get it eventually but looking around the internet the blu-ray release has gotten some mixed reactions. Is it really that bad and I should just wait and hope they do a better one some day?

It is an alright release...an upgrade in quality from a DVD but not something that will make you go wow. Definitely can be improved upon and I think at some point it will get another Blu-ray release but who knows when that will be. It was one of my first Blu-ray's and I have watched it a few times and I don't regret getting it.

However, during a recent interview, filmmaker Jonathan Liebesman (director of Wrath of the Titans) surprisingly revealed that Christopher Nolan is currently converting Inception into 3D, with a view to a future 3D Blu-ray release.
Didn't see that coming!

I still can't justify the cost of buying a 3D set-up tho... and those glasses look like they could break anytime...

Meh...lol. Inception was brilliant in regular ol' 2D, I don't really think it needs to be in 3D. Speaking of Inception, I need to watch that again.

I have to say I was disappointed with the special features for Inception... Dark Knight had some impressive docs, but Inception didn't have anything interesting...

I think that Inception would have been awesome if it were filmed in 3D the way Tron: Legacy was filmed in 3D (real world in 2D, computer world, or in this case dream world, in 3D). Dream sequences in films like those in Inception and Nightmare on Elm Street would have benefited from 3D by creating a surreal atmosphere.

But I would hate to see Inception get converted to 3D. The movie was filmed in 2D. Nolan has so far expressed a bit of disdain for 3D in favor of IMAX. And 3D really only works is if it were filmed in 3D like Avatar or takes 3D into account like Alice in Wonderland. Inception had neither of those, and thus should remain in 2D.
