It's a concept drawn up based on the description of the new 3rd jerseys. it's the Leafs so you shouldnt expect much change. I believe it was on icethetics.

Update on the Winnipeg Jets new Uni/Logo from July 14th in the Winnipeg Free Press.

"We're working through the final logo and jersey work," said Jets director of corporate communications Scott Brown. "That doesn't mean it'll be announced any time soon. We just want to let the public know that contributions to any type of contest aren't going to be considered because we're long past that stage. To take in a new concept or logo now would mean the jerseys would not be ready for the beginning of the season.
"We're far down that road in the process of making final detailed tweakings to the logo and the jerseys."
Brown said release of the new logo will come before the jersey unveiling.
The NHL needs the logo for its own publications, the Jets need it for advertising and other teams are asking for it as soon as possible so they can have it printed on their tickets.
The new jerseys still likely won't be ready until the end of the summer. When the Jets rookies take to the ice at the Vancouver Canucks young stars tournament in Penticton, B.C., from Sept. 11-15 they'll be sporting the new look.

I would describe it as such. Capt. America Shield, Leafs Logo and Goose and Mav.

It's ok. But I like that silver will be featured in the colors.

Edit: I am not crazy about that font they are using. We can only hope it doesn't rear it's ugly head with their jersey #'s, etc.....

Actually Royal Canadian Air Force logo, North compass referencing TNSE.

I give it 4 years before they change the logo. I saw fan concepts that were better.

From the official website it looks like it could be two shades of blue and white, you can see the stripes on the side. There could possibly be a alternate red one.

A "sky Blue" would certainly fit with the whole Jets thing. Fingers crossed for no Black.

There used to be a website somewhere that had all of the failed prototype logos for some of the NFL teams. It was pretty interesting and unreal to see some of the crap team's were going to change to. Crap like this:
