Cover art suggests that it is, but they usually do say if it is. The story doesn't sound immediately familair. I'll be taking a peek before I buy. I ahve all his other books already.

Gambit wasn't around when that group of Champions were. Iceman and Angel were already in X-factor when Gambit debuted and I dont recall them reuniting years later.

The LA Champions were around way before Gambit debuted... to me this seems more like a period piece/untold story.

I took it more like "I know that I'm the one for you. Don't bother me with your drama until you figure that out too."

It doesn't mean that he's going to sit around waiting. He's just telling her that he knows she's gonna come crying back to him eventually. He's being the mature one.

^^ This was my take on it as well. It would be my wish that she never takes him up on it. She simply needs to move on.

After years of Gambit getting torn down to prop up Rogue through that albatross of a romance, I'm loving how the shoe is on the other foot with regards to her and Magneto. Not only is she looking like a complete doormat of a character simply to give Mags a notch in his belt, but it further cements the end of her fling with Gambit. Two birds, with one stone.

As someone who really doesn't like Rogue, I'm laughing right now.

Thank god. I hope Remy is finally done with her. Its too bad he's still a part of Legacy's cast bc Im sure Carey will troll Gambit to prop up the Magneto/Rogue pairing.

From what I hear from the lastest issue of Legacy, it's not a good day for Rogue fans. Ahhhh, the irony! Carey, who has proclaimed his Rogue love, has done more to assasinate her character than any other writer in recent history. I really liked her in the late 80's-mid 90's. Looks like she's getting the Gambit treatment now. Pity.

I'm just worried that he will throw Gambit at Frenzy-that would be almost as weird as the Magneto/Rogue thing (yeah, I know that supposedly they have a "history" but one thing is a one night stand, another is having some sort of relationship).

She was sleeping with Magneto mere hours after Gambit tells her she's the love of his life.

It's more than a fling from his end, that much is clear, but Rogue hasn't shown that same level of concern and commitment in years.

I enjoyed RoMy back in the early 90's, they were great together in the cartoon, too..
But I hate the damn Magneto/Rogue relationship, always have, always will
He's old, it's gross, I don't care how many times he's been de-aged
I always assumed she was around 20-25, so to be with a guy who's now, what 80 years old- even if optimistically he looks 50- s'just naaasty

I haven't read it yet. If there are any scan worthy pages, I'll put them up.

Apparently, Gambit is showing up in #7-8 of Incredible Hercules. Van Lente has posted on twitter asking for Gambit-writing advice.

Since Liu is also on twitter, I'm hoping someone who knows how that whole thing works could introduce them.

Wow I hope none of this is true. This guy co-wrote Cowboys and Aliens? If he is referrring to the comic help us all. It was the worst piece of trash I have ever read. Good thing it looks like the movie is only LOOSELY based on it.
