Peter Tätgren is a genius! (Rumor has it that he's gonna take over the vocals in Bloodbath when they make their comeback)

Both Hypocrisy and Pain are awesome (if anyone want some good industrial metal, you should check out Pain)

Indeed! And he seems like a cool person as well!

It's extremely unfortunate that Mikael Åkerfeldt quit Bloodbath because his growls fit that music like a glove. At the same time, he's spoken openly in interviews that he's grown tired of death metal. Given the direction Opeth is going now, I think it's very unlikely that we'll ever hear him grow in new albums anymore. Very sad because I loved how diverse he was with Opeth.

That Tägtgren rumour isn't too far fetched actually since he's been a member of that band before. Would be cool even though he's extremely busy as it is now already.

I agree about both Hypocrisy and Pain! Cool to see another fan! I don't know if I'm in a minority or not but I actually think the latest two albums of Hypocrisy: Virus and A Taste Of Extreme Divinity (not counting the remake of Catch 22 even though that's a good one as well) are some of the best ones. Some of the older stuff sounds too old school even for me.

Apparently, Hypocrisy will release another album next year I heard. I look forward to that one very much!

His project Pain is great as well! I love the latest album!

Alice in Cahins have a new song coming out next week called Hollow. Should be getting info on the new album soon, too.

Rodgrigo y Gabriela also have a new album coming out in spring, as do Scale the Summit.
Tool should be recording early next year, hopefully, it's been far too long.

I saw Opeth in Dublin a few weeks back, they were fantastic. Awesome set, plenty old songs, though could have done with more Heritage:

I think he'll do some growling here & there in future, but I like the direction they took with Heritage, so I'm up for more of that.

Virus is their best album. Warpath is goddamn scorcher of a song. They're a damn good live band too.

Honestly, Tagtgren was my favorite Bloodbath vocalist. There was nothing wrong with Akerfeldt (it is Akerfeldt afterall), but Tagtgren just sounded so evil.

Oh definitely, Warpath is one of my favourite metal songs of all time! It's a bone crusher!
