Ah, yes - Bedard's run on Exiles, one reason I hate him. And Bedard's Green Lantern work - one reason I love him.

Exiles really got intolerable once Mimic died and Morph became Proteus

I agree. It just wasn't the same. Seems like as soon as I like someone, the writers kill them off and the book just isn't any fun anymore.

One of my favorite alt-characters was that lesbian Sunfire

I like pointing out that Chuck Austen and Judd Winick wrote the best Exiles issues.

It goes to show that sometimes you can get quality by putting writers on books that don't really matter. Other times, you get Claremont.

Wow, what a great issue. Right up there with the last Uncanny.

Really good issue. Glad they are not treating Wolverine like his 'captain invincible'.

I'm confused holocaust is Apocalypse alternate reality son from the AoA timeline right because his is suddenly 616 timeline famine who was a girl in her teens when she became a horseman.

So either holocaust is from 616 and grew up real fast or Apocalypse is a pedo or holocaust is from the AoA timeline in which case I'm surprised Famine cares about him and sees him as her son because Cyclops rarely shows that much care for his alternate reality kids Rachel and Nate although he has recently.

Genocide, nee Holocaust, is from the 616, and the son of Famine and Apocalypse.

I love the 616 Nightcrawler...but here's my dilemma:

I didn't like the idea of the "Age of Apocalypse" Nightcrawler replacing our Nightcrawler(or Jean Grey or any of the others for that matter). But then I thought about it. The Age of Apocalypse was originally created from our(Marvel's) timeline when Legion killed his father Xavier. So...technically, they were the same people up until that exact moment...when Legion created a "divergent timeline". They lived very different lives after that...but does that make them any less "original"?

Yeah, it was amazing for so long. Once Mimic died I lost a lot of interest, then Morph techincally died and I lost all interest. I stayed on for a little longer but funally bailed a few issues into Claremont's run. I just didn't like the cast anymore.

Morph is one character that I would have liked to crossover into 616

They gave him his "Forever" titles so he could go play in his irrelevant playground and those got cancelled

I loved Simonson's X-factor Forever. They should have given her a volume 2

I hated the origin she gave Apocalypse. Everything else was cool though.

so did that alternate version of the early 90s get cancelled? I only had the first issue...I liked seeing the early 90s crew, just not the way he was handling them...

Yeah. Deodato. What I wouldn't give to see him on something that isn't New Avengers.
