ARE POLITICAL VIEWS PRE-DETERMINED BY BRAIN STRUCTURE?
http://healthland.time.com/2011/04/0...-brain/?hpt=T2

Interesting.

Interesting.

By contrast, those who identified as conservatives had larger amygdalas almond-shaped structures that are linked with emotional learning and the processing of fear.
I believe it.

I think it said it best when it said that liberals are more trusting of other while conservatives are not.

I bet this experiment would prove that: Have 10 homeless people on a street. 5 have varying signs explaining their situation and 5 others are doing tasks/jobs. Give someone $10 and ask them to give the one bill to anyone of their choosing. I would bet that 'conservatives' more so give it to the people doing something and 'liberals' would give it to the person that either looked the worst or had the saddest sign. That would correlate with the above's theory that liberals are more trusting of other while conservatives are not.

"Uh, since my boss made up the policy. You gonna pay? You're holding up my line of one other person. You can't afford your milk, step aside. What, daddy didn't give you enough milk money? Little baby gonna cry about it? Just step aside."
And that is how Uncle Ben dies.

Interesting.
Hmmmm....I did a little bit more looking into this, and it seems that this study began in the UK....where liberals follow the classical liberal standard of "individual rights" for the most part (also, Libertarianism is also known as the modern form of neo-classical liberalism) wow..., whereas liberals here in the US follow the social liberal standard of the state (government) making many of the decisions that classical liberal thinkers see as individual decisions.

Interesting...
