I remember Conroy saying in an interview that Arkham City gets "pretty dark"
Maybe The Joker kills Robin in it, like in the comics? And I don't like the shaved head. It's generic.

Yeah the shaved head is a bit excessive and seems like they are trying very hard to make him "badass." Because all badass people have shaved heads according to the games industry. HOwever I do commend them for adding him.

you said it before I did. He looks just like Cole. Robin in a Nolan film? There are a million reasons why this isn't a good idea. Chief among them, the dynamic of Bruce, training and allowing a kid to put himself in danger on the streets of Gotham while people are getting murdered, probably can't be pulled off in his eventual favor. Bale's Wayne just wouldn't allow anyone else to do his job, for/with him for fear that he'll get someone else killed. You can argue that Robin can be older but, if you're talking about Robin we're talking about a young kid to begin with. It's much too risky for Bruce to do this and in the end, I'm afraid Wayne would look like a creep if Robin was included.

Both the design and the colouring are great. But with the colors I can start seeing why this wouldn't work in Nolan's movies. No matter what, Robin next to Batman doesn't look right on the big screen. |

There's a sense with The Dark Knight that Nolan's Batman wouldn't let anyone do the job he does and that he would be Batman for life and he has to be Batman for life.
I think Robin it should be a conflicting issue for Batman as he is becoming older and thinking about future, of a world without Batman and what will happen to Gotham if one day he's killed. I'd have Bruce be there when Dick Grayson parents are killed and sort of take Dick in but not to train him but because he feels sorry for him and understands what he's going through. As Dick tries to go out and find his parents killer Batman wonders whether Dick could be his future replacement but is conflicted about it. Have Batman be the reluctant mentor of Dick sort of like Mr Hann in Karate Kid. Batman is reluctant of Robin just as the audience is and the movie is about Robin proving himself to Batman as well as us.

Great work on the colouring tekken. That's some sweet work. Lets hope he looks pretty much like that in Arkham City.
Personally I think the only good reason for keeping Robin out of Nolan's movies (other than the fact Nolan isn't interested which is good enough) is that Nolan is focusing on a time in Batman's life that is way before Robin ever came on the go. Even in TDK Batman is still in the beginning of his career. I don't think he will be the Batman we all know until the end of this next film.

Anyways, it's now a fact that Robin would look just fine on screen. Everybody can go home now and relax, the argument is over. It's been proven. With science.

But I think that also extends to Catwoman, at least in the context that he would actually align himself with her, or to even allow her to exist. If he's injured for a period of time and unable to physically stop her, that's one thing, but once he is, I just can't see this version of Batman letting her go about town. Especially if she's a thief in any capacity. It's going to be interesting how that dynamic plays out, because to me, it's much the same scenario as Robin. Perhaps even worse, considering she's a criminal at times, and at least in Robin's case, Wayne has a nurturing role in his development, skillset & moral compass

So plenty of rumors flourished last year that Nolan would make a definitive "end" to his Batman saga with this film; namely, killing off Bruce Wayne. Not only is this a depressing thought in and of itself but it seems to go against the character that Nolan is slowly evolving. Being that this is the last film of the franchise and Bruce needs to be given some sort of closure, how do you feel the introduction of Dick Grayson would play to fans and general audiences? Not so much as a character throughout, or even a "big reveal," but something towards the very end of the film that shows Bruce's adoption of Dick is in his imminent future (off camera, of course).
