The atmosphere of this show reminded me of Buffy.

I liked this alot and there is a lot of potential. I hope it stays around because it's nice to see a show like this on network tv.

Pretty good premier. I liked the groundwork they laid down and I'm looking forward to seeing more.

It was pretty good IMO. I thought the lead praticularly did a good job and the werwolf sidekick is obviously going to be the fan fave from design.

I actually liked this, wasnt expecting to. I wonder if Cinderella/Snow White and co. all existed at some point in this history.

The ending was a little meh and way too confusing for me.

Why didn't Burkhardt die from that injection if it was poison to kill Aunt Marie? We didn't really learn too much about the fiancee from this episode. When I spoke with the actors, they said they are like the loves of their life but I didn't get that from this episode. In fact, Burkhardt was rather cold and cruel to his girl throughout the episode and it made him look kind of like a jerk.

It was a pretty good premiere. I prefer "Once Upon a Time" but maybe that's because of the hot girls. lol.

I didn't get that at all. He was standoffish towards her but I never would have said he was cruel towards her.

I wondered about why Burkhardt didn't die from the injection of green liquid. But then I figured that it was supposed to kill the aunt in her coma to avoid attention.

Solid first ep looking to latch onto the Buffy territory. Not sure the lead has the charisma to carry the show though, I also thought they missed the chance to showcase the "All the better to hear you with" part of the fable when it was clear the killer overheard them talking about the song.

It also seemed the girl only had one song on her i pod.

I think the song was on repeat hunter, God knows that would be the worst song to only have on your iPod.

Siby, I was just kind of put off by the way he treated her.

I'll give this episode benefit of the doubt because it was the pilot and it was shot a while ago. Shows sometimes change quite a bit from pilots to series.

Oh my....I didn't know what to expect from this show really. I had read almost nothing about it....but I am completely blown away after the pilot. This is probabaly one of my favorite shows currently now.

So I don't know...I still have mixed feelings about this show. It's unique, but there are parts that feel just kind of bland to me. I love the werewolf sidekick though, especially in today's episode. "That went a little too far."

Yeah, this show gets a lot of small character things right, which makes it all the more enjoyable. Like the reaction Nick had when the one kid morphed in front of him, the banter between him and his partner, and it doesn't hurt to have that kind of gore on network television. Too bad the aunt couldn't have hung around longer. She works really well with Nick and would have loved to see more interactions between her and Eddie.

Episode wasn't bad. I mean I like the show, I don't think it's quite "there" yet if you know what I mean. I like the mystery revolving around the Captain and Claire Coffee's character whatever she is supposed to be.

However at the same time, if the family are like The Three Bears monsters, just say bears. I don't know German and understand what yerbar or whatever means.

The one thing I don't like are the visuals. I know they are on a TV budget, but they just look super cheap, even cheaper than a similarly themed show like SANCTUARY. I wish there was less CG and more practical FX and puppetry like say Farscape.

I do like the werewolf sidekick and the partner and also Reggie Lee.

I'd like to see the show continue, but it's still on Friday nights on NBC.

Finally got around to watching the first two episodes, the show is interesting and has potential with the mythology and fable characters it could bring but I feel like it's wasting so much of that potential on the procedural cop/crime show format.

Take away the fable/supernatural aspect and it's just another cop show.

Friday's episode was the 2nd most watched show of the night. It's a rare hit for NBC.

It's been decent enough both eps for me to keep watching but I agree with TVO, ditch the German names and the poor CGI, After two beasts in a row I'm glad next weeks seems to have a different type of creature.
