Yeah, the bears just looked bad. I know they're on a budget, but if they look that bad I think I would've found a different way of doing them. They really need to rethink their effects.

I'm glad this and Once Upon a Time are doing good. We need more quality shows like this on TV.

I can't stand Supernatural so I'm glad we got this.

I think the show is building up pretty well and I am starting to used to the leads, but the CGI remains horrid.

NBC has ordered two additional scripts from its new fairy tale drama Grimm, Deadline reports.

Created by Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel alums David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf, the fantasy police procedural follows Portland, Oregon, a homicide detective (David Giuntoli) who discovers he’s a descendent of a long line of hunters known as Grimms, responsible for protecting our world from the sinister creatures of fairy tales.

The series debuted strong Oct. 28, but has since slipped in the ratings, with the most recent episode drawing 5.2 million viewers.

A new episode of Grimm airs Friday at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC>

Grimm? Ha — this news is positively joyful!

Sources confirm exclusively to TVLine that NBC’s freshman thriller has cast Angel and Dollhouse alum Amy Acker as the fearsome Black Widow.

Just how fearsome is she?

Well, most of the time, not at all — she’s Lena, your run-of-the-mill happy housewife. But, because she suffers from rapid-aging syndrome — wait, that’s not just a soap opera thing? — every five years, she has to leech the life out of three guys in three short days in order to maintain her appearance.

What? Like your beauty regimen is so much more respectable.

Anyhow, her episode will air in early 2012, so save some of that New Year’s Eve bubbly, huh? In the meantime, feel free to weigh in on her casting below. You know you want to!

I will be so pissed off if this show get's canceled. It's one of the best shows on TV right now. And most original.

Amy Acker as a femme fatale? I can get behind that.

That was actually a good episode.

I also realized that both Emma from Once Upon A Time and Eddie from this show both drive yellow Volkswagen Beetles, lol.

Some product placement from Fairy Tale Land? Well, the Grimm Brothers were German...

And the former actors of Lost continue to show up on these new shows...

They are also going to give a shot at Thursday night starting in December.

I'm happy it got picked up. I like the show and the concept has potential. Obviously there are kinks to work out, but hopefully they will get there.

This past episode was one of my favorites. I really like Monroe, the blutbad, so an episode where he has some focus is great! Nice way of weaving in the Three Little Pigs. And having Anrst as one of the pigs (the one in the brick house, no less)? Awesome!

OK, I have to admit, this show wasn't really grabbing me for the first couple of episodes, (although i did like the jagerbaar episode) but after dans macabre and the three big bad wolves, I am loving this show. great atmosphere, great mythology (and it's actually original) and a pretty good cast (although they could give the lead character a little more personality, but it's only the first season, these things usually need to develop). all and all, I'm digging it.

The last two eps were a step up, The pied Piper being called Roddy did not go unnoticed.

The Wolves episode was the best though and I think we'll be seeing Angelina again.

Both eps put a woman into the mix for Monroe and Hank, women that have agendas and clash directly with Grimm, it's a good way to evolve the support characters and I imagine eventually Hank will find out the secret.

I almost missed the Friday ep as I thought it had moved to Thursday.

This weeks was the best ep so far, although I hope someone remembered to go and get the guy out of the two brothers basement.

I felt so bad for that dog washing guy. Talk about having bad luck. The episode kind of ended early, leaving a few questions unanswered like: What happened between the wolf girl and the neighbor? I assume he tried to do something to her, she wolfed out and bit him. And of course the unresolved issue with the dog washing guy.

I thought it was a bit sloppy that they left the strand involving the dog washer totally hanging. I'm pretty sure the inference was that the the guy who she identified was a pedo and tried to take her.
