you know what I love about this show? it's a show about a monster hunter, but more often than not the humans are the real monster.

I hope we get an episode with the focus on the captain. I haven't figured him out yet.

The premise of the show is very good but I want more exploration about the Grimms. Maybe meet other Grimms.

I'm dying to see what the monsters see when looking at Nick or at any Grimm.

Yeah, how do the monsters know he is a Grimm? Is it something they see, smell, feel?

I always got the feeling they knew he was a Grimm because they could tell he could see what they really were.

The scene with the 3 monsters parked across from Nick's house says his inner self must be on 24/7. The 2 monsters who have never met Nick were scared ****less.

That was the funniest scene among the series I've ever watched because they were freaking out and running around Nick's front yard like a bunch of high school girls driving by "that boy's" house. I LOL at that scene

Anyone still watching? I liked the Ogre ep but this weeks was boring, except for the two sub plots that seem to be setting something overarching in motion.

I thought this episode was brilliant. surprisingly psychological. and the end with Munroe was awesome. he's such a great character. I wasn't a fan of the show at first, but ever since Dans Macabre (which was simply awesome) I feel the show has gotten progressively better. the stories are actually very deep from a character perspective.

I've been watching it with VOD. I liked the episode and some more focus and development for Hank. I had almost completely forgotten that Monroe was a clock/watchmaker. So I liked that element. I'd like to know more why that Monroe rejects the wolf part of himself and why he turned away from it. Why is he basically a vegan/recovering alcoholic, and why does he see it as a disease?

Another great episode. This is one of my favorite shows currently.

I was beginning to wonder how long it would be before the wolf dude would get attacked by his own kind ofr helping a Grimm.

I wonder how long until other grimms start showing up and getting pissed by how Nick is working WITH the monsters a lot of the time.

Nick has only worked with the wolf dude as far as I can remember.

But I am more curious about the captain and now the scythe. Remember the captain killed the reaper, seemingly to protect the cop Grimm, earlier in the season. The captain was also trying to kill the Grimms so I'm confused as to his game.

I apologize for not knowing the names of the people on this show.

He didn't kill the guy. He put the guy in his place (he kneels to him) and sliced off an ear.

As for what the Captain is ...

Quote:
Sasha Roiz stars in NBC's new drama series "Grimm" as Captain Renard, Nick's politically adept superior officer and a descendant of a powerful line of Grimm royalty.
"You're protecting a Grimm?" The Reaper's line to the Captain before he took his ear.

He might be a Grimm but belongs to a higher class that goes by a different name.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum Azura Skye will guest-star on an upcoming episode of Grimm, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.

Skye, 30, will play a kind, mild-mannered bed and breakfast owner named Robin Steinkeller, who also happens to be a Seltenvogel (an extremely rare bird-like creature). Robin has something very valuable to many in the Wesen world, and Nick (David Giuntoli) finds her in a panic to escape her abusive husband. So far, her only protection is the strength of her turtleneck and scarf, whatever that might mean. Perhaps her neck gets cold easily?

No airdate has been set yet for the episode, titled "The Thing with Feathers."

Skye's guest turn reunites her with Buffy the Vampire Slayer executive producer and writer David Greenwalt, now an executive producer on Grimm. Greenwalt also re-teamed with Buffy vet Amy Acker for the upcoming Feb. 10 episode in which she plays a black widow.

Skye most recently guest-starred on American Horror Story last year.

Grimm airs Fridays at 9/8c on NBC.

That doesn't make any sense. How could the captain be a Grimm be it of a higher class, for which there has been no mention of in the show. Also, if he is a Grimm or even this "higher class" why was he trying to kill the bald lady Grimm, Nick's aunt?

The Reaper's line would suggest that the captain is some sort of enemy of the Grimm family line.

I just wish they would delve more into the captain at least a little bit every episode.

I'm hoping the two new strands of story set in motion last week develop into an overarching story.

As for the Captain, I think the reveal of what he is will be in the season finale as his agenda seems uncertain but whatever he is Grimm doesn't see it.

just saw last weeks episode, I can't wait to see more of that priest, he looked kind of simian in form, based on his blurry visage.

bump for the new episode, this show has really gotten awesome. I wasn't crazy about it at first, but three episodes in and it REALLY hit it's stride.
