Transformers, Super 8, and Cowboys & Aliens have the absolute best TV Spots.
What do they have in common? Spielberg. Just sayin'.

These TV spots would be useful if you could make ****ing anything out of it. I guess it's good if you like watching pieces of metal roll around in smoke.

still holding out hope for all films this summer though not to beat a dead horse, but that's literally what bay and EVERYONE involved and that has seen all the footage has been saying for the past few months... all signs point to an awesome finale.

Wow, Bayhem!
Loved the shot of the guy diving out of the plane.

Saw the spot and had a moment of, "Hell yeah! Sweet!"
Then I remembered the Revenge of the Fallen teaser/trailer, for which I said the same thing...and look how that turned out. Will wait for a full trailer.

Wow, that shot of Optimus landing and laying waste to a bunch of robots is awesome. If there was a chance in hell of this film having an ounce of heart, intelligence, or plot, I would be stoked.

Hmmm one thing still puzzles me. I know Spielberg is an executive producer on this film as he was the previous 2. That being the case why is Dreamworks no longer involved with this franchise? I do not see them listed on either of the 2 trailers and on the imdb Paramount is listed as the distributor and main production company but Dreamworks is not listed at all. was there a falling out of some kind? I seem to be the only one noticing this

Wow the superbowl footage looks great, it's a bit hard to make out some of it but overall it's a pretty good tv spot.

The TF2 teaser looked bad-ass too. But I won't be fooled twice.

If the movie is about the Decepticons causing a world-wide power and communications blackout, I think that's a pretty neat idea.

The only part I could really make out was Optimus, but that part did look cool. Some dialogue would have been nice, but you can only do so much in half a minute.

The biggest 'tell' will be the actual trailer - One thing that has always been great in both Transformer films is the robot action...it's the human aspect that drags them down. Until we see just how the human aspect is handled...
well, as Noga has said - been there, seen that.

The last teaser (for the second movie) was definitely better. There is something cool about Transformers coming down like meteors. The creepy tune helped too.

fair point, however pointless.
what you are saying is that no matter what you seen, no matter what...you would have come to the same conclusion, and your trailer reaction is a pointless one and we should all wait for your film write up instead. you could have wrote that before you seen the tv spot and it would be just as valuable. The TV spot was good. I especially got a big kick out of the part with Laserbeak (there's no doubt in my mind that who the dragonbot was).

So did the Decepticons borrow all those spaceships from Unicron, or did they just find them lying around?
