Second news article on the page:

http://www.usanetwork.com/series/bur...ce=rmk&sky=rmk

Apparently USA will be releasing an internet graphic novel which bridges the gap between seasons 4 and 5 and covers the downfall of the rest of the organization that burned Michael.

I don't like it a bit. I mean, this is essentially the entire plot of the series and its being resolved via graphic novel? On one hand, I am pleased that the show is moving on (it needs a fresh start), but at least open the new season with Michael on a mission to hunt and kill John Mahoney's "Management," character. Have some dialogue about how Michael has taken down the rest of the organization since rejoining the CIA, etc. Don't just resolve it via web-based graphic novel.

I hate how so many franchises have been doing stuff like this lately. Trying to tie-in material on the web to television or movies, even comics and other media formats. It's fine if it's complementary but taking one of the main plots to a series and running it outside of it's standard format is just poor marketing IMO.

It would be like reading a book and then being told to watch a movie to see how it ends or watching a movie then told to go to a website and see what happens to a major character who disappears midway into the story.

I agree. Its one thing to do a graphic novel tie-in, but to wrap up the show's running story line and most important plot point for the past four years in one is really unfair to the fans.

The most important plot point was why they burned Michael, which was covered on the show. He was a scapegoat for Simon's dirty ops. and furthermore, the implication seemed to be that they wanted him to become just another Simon for them to use to do their bidding, and if he ever went native, and they'd have locked him away just like Simon.

This just sounds like they'll be covering how the rest of the organization went down once and for all. That honestly isn't so interesting that it needs to be addressed on the show itself.

Yeah, good 'sode. Let me get this clear though... the CIA gathered up all the associates of 'The Company'... but where's Management? I bet Michael will still be after him.

Awesome premiere loved from begining to end in fact I hated to see it end. Like others have said I doubt kessler is the head guy. The guy who ran the company committing suicide I don't buy that.

The premiere was pretty solid. I was a little concerned at how different the show felt until Mike returned to Miami. After Sam and Fi re-entered the picture, though, it was as good as ever. I'm curious to see how Jesse's new position will allow him to interact with the others now. I hope he doesn't disappear completely.

As for the evil organization (man, it really needs a name, doesn't it?), I get a sinking feeling that it's gonna run even deeper than anyone thought and Mike's new buddies in the CIA might turn out to be in on it.

I'm betting the Organization is going to still be very much alive before we see the end of this season. It's gone on this long without being torn apart and Michael does it with four people and practically in no time at all? There is more to it than what we've seen.

Fi and Sam were only in on this last mission. Mike's been working with the CIA for six months to bring the organization down piece by piece.

I missed bits of the premiere so I'll have to rewatch it but I'm sure this isn't the end.

I'm sure it's not either, but it's not surprising that Mike got way further than anyone else. Everyone who's tried to take down the organization so far have been lone wolves using guerilla tactics all by themselvse. They had some wins, but ultimately they were doing more to call attention to themselves than strike at the organization itself. Those kinds of people are easy to take out once you corner them because they have no backup and no real resources beyond their own ingenuity and whatever contacts they've made in spy circles. Mike, on the other hand, managed to get other people and the CIA's resources behind him in his hunt for the organization. It was an organized, far more symmetrical response to the organization than Victor or anyone else could muster.

I hope he doesn't work too closely with the CIA or that they phase out the helping the helpless aspect of the show.

I think that'll be one of the central concepts of this season, to be honest.
