So, this event that's been going on for over 80 years is invalid because 2 actors haven't been recognized out of the hundreds that have been nominated and won?

[/QUOTE]I'm not exactly a fan though. I've never read a Hulk comic, in fact I've only read a bare handfull of comics ever (A few X-men in the mid-90's, & TDKReturns), so I wasn't coming at it from a die hards fans POV with specific wants & expectations. Just a movie fan with a particular liking for CBMs. I respect that Ang went for something deeper than the usual blockbuster/action flick, hell, I commend him for it, I just think it missed the mark considerably. But anyway, how 'bout that Iron Dude?

Hulk was more faithful. It had the tales on the PD run (abusive father, repression) which is bar none the best run on the hulk out there, along with the origin being closer to the comis than TIH.
Also had better music too.

Another scoop, thanks to Dekard66:
One piece or info I forgot to mention to you guys on Friday, but wanted to confirm with him this morning is what the Marvel rep. told him about Iron Man 3. |

Well, a good friend of mine was just hired. I doubt I'll get any stories from him during production. He is very professional and on high profile stuff like this that he works on he is always tight lipped until he is onto the next job.
I did apply for an internship, though. ![]() Doubtful that I would get it. They don't usually do internships on these films here. But if I were to get...man, that would be a dream. Don't expect any stories from me though either if I did. |

But yeah, Hulk is more faithful and a better movie than TIH for me, and yes it did have better music, but I did like the TIH score as well.

It is quite odd to me, because although TIH had references and Abomb as the villian, it seemed to me to be more of the tv show adapted to film with comic references.
My only *true* disappointment of AngHulk was we needed a different villain. Don't get me wrong, absorbing man/dad/etc; was cool, but I'd have preferred someone else. Plus I will be forever pissed we got robbed of Joe Fixit in Hulk 2.

Hulk is an awful movie, but for some reason comic book fans (the only defenders) defend it all the time.
TIH is better, and it isn't even close. |

I think his dad should have turned into Grey Hulk, though I like the final battle we get in Hulk, it would have made much more sense if his father turned into a Hulk-type creature and Grey Hulk would have been perfect. Comic fans arent the only ones who defend, they both got around the same percentage on Rottentomatoes so critics couldnt really differentiate between them either, and plenty of non comic fans liked the movie. Hulk was much more faithful than TIH, and in mine and many others opinions the much better movie. And this is coming from someone who liked TIH.

Cinematographer Matthew Libatique Choosing Noah Over Iron Man 3? Matthew Libatique (Iron Man 1-2) is considered one of the best cinematographers currently working in Hollywood. His films are some the most beautiful looking pieces of cinema. Credits include Requiem For A Dream, Black Swan, Cowboys And Aliens, Tigerland and The Fountain. Libatique is also known as a longtime collaborator of director Darren Aronofksy and says he's about to work on Noah. The news was dug up by ThePlaylist and production on Noah starts this summer. Noah is a blockbuster bible epic featuring a new take the mythical character and could be seeing a release date in the fall of 2013 This news might be impactful to Iron Man fans as Matthew has worked on the first two films. Leading me to believe he won't be working on Shane Black's Iron Man 3. Production on Iron Man 3 is rumored to start in late April or early May in North Carolina. Which seems to conflict with Noah's summer production in New York and Iceland. I wouldn't say it's the end of the world but Libatique like Jon Favreau helped create the world of Iron Man. It wouldn't be the first comic book project Matthew has walked from. He was previously set to work on The Wolverine when Aronofsky was still the director. http://celluloidandcigaretteburns.bl...libatique.html

Huh. Not good news, whenever you lose a good cinematographer like that....hope they get a good replacement.
Sounds like Libatique is pretty choosy which directors he works for -- he clearly respects working with Favreau, but might not be too keen on working with Shane Black.

I would be down for this but at this point they're just filming at a studio that happens to have a water tank. Still, teh possibilities are cool!

Namor seems completely the opposite direction of what Shane Black would want to do and have it more like a military thriller again.

I think the article is jumping to conclusions, I thought Namor was owned by Fox anyway?
One thing does seem likely though, if they are filming a big SFX sequence underwater, we are going to see the Hydro-Armour! ![]() Interesting that they mention The Ghost being rumoured, I've not seen him mentioned anywhere but my thread here.
