She's not naked. Wearing a black top. It's just obscured by the wings. The shot of her from the front (same scene) clears that up.

Maybe the movieverse reason why he's in a wheelchair is because of all the sex he had in the sixties.

A little nod to the first film when he stops the bullet from going in that cop's head, and just holds it there spinning. |

I took it to be that since mutants are still hidden it is the two of them seeking out mutants and recruiting them for their new venture together. Plus it looks like it will be a great chance to do a Sean Connery Bond-type scene. Think From Russia with Love or Dr. No. They go into a nightclub/casino where everyone wears tuxedos and nice suits and their are '60s-styled exotic dancers. Xavier picks out which is the mutant and they go back for a "party" and instead offer her a place at their school.
It has Connery Bond written all over the scene.

Thinking about continuity, it's funny that Mystique and Beast got romantic... and yet in X3, strangely they never run into each other. It's also funny to think how old Mystique is but she always presents herself as a young woman, which makes sense. If this movie makes money, it will be interesting to see where they go with the next movie.

Also guessing that the stripclub scene is them recruiting Angel. Of course, it looks like they're enjoying this one. Imo, have fun while you can; next time you're out recruiting, it might be someone like Toad, Skin or Maggot! |

There are to many instances where Fassbender is totally pimp as Magneto in the trailer.

I'm pretty sure in the comics she's almost the same age as Wolverine, but still looks like a woman around her late 20's to early 30's. |

At first when I read the title of this thread I thought it'd be about the gun
But before I go there, lets talk about Angel Salvadore. She reminded me a lot about the Wasp though, since 2000 we've been seeing X-Men gorgeously bringing to life comic characters that people thought would be too silly for live-action, this is yet another example! I don't think it'd be the Hellfire Club, but maybe it is. Gentlemen Clubs are notorious for things you'd never expect. Now, about that gun. At first it's a jarring visual isn't it? Here we have a group of outcasts who are just like everyone else, watching the news and feeling the world changing for the worse. And we see Erik, no way a pacifist, holding a tool of violence. The neat symbolism is fun. Who didn't see the Bond connection in there? Seriously? I figure that Erik was practicing how to control guns/bullets like he did in the first film. |

It has been mentioned in the comics that she is well over 100 years old.

I guess they're just gunna ignore that scene altogether .. It doesn't feel right that the Hellfire club is a 'gentleman's' club. Takes away from the regality of the organization. Sure, the women always wore some bondage lookin stuff, but it was victorian corsets, it fit the look. Is Emma Frost just a stripper now?? Are they not kings and queens? also, about that tv, this was the 60's, television technology wasn't quite pumpin out big-screen tv's yet...though i guess magneto could make one somehow...
