When are you planning to see MOS?

So... I thought it might be fun to share when you are planning to see MOS? What version 2D, 3D or IMAX? Are you buying advanced tickets? And is anyone coming to the theater with you?

I'd love to see it on opening day but chances are that won't work out. So right now my current plan is to take my Dad on father's day (the 16th). With the strong father/son storyline seems like a good excuse to bring him along. He's a fan of Superman, not die-hard mind you, but he enjoys the character enough that he'll be interested to see the latest version.

As for advanced tickets, I'm not sure when they go on sell here, but I need to call the theater and find out soon. I absolutely plan on getting advanced tickets. I find it makes for a more convenient movie watching experience and if it sells out, at least you know you don't have to wait for the next showing.

edit: Forgot to mention, I'll be seeing it in regular 2D the first time around.

I'm totally going to see it first in 3D and I'm pretty sure I'm seeing the midnight showing, but debating whether to check it out in IMAX first or regular theater. Last year I chose to watch TDKR in IMAX opening night, but the commute to the nearest IMAX theater was awful and I literally got no sleep before work the next day. Plus those tickets were a b**** to snag!

Since I'm THAT desperate to see it, I want to be among the first to snag tickets from Wal-Mart to the special IMAX 3D screening happening a day or two before.

Well my plan was the Walmart screening at my local theater, but I actually will be out of town working until late Friday June 14th. So more than likely I'll have to go to a Saturday Matinee. I can't believe I might not see it opening night. My first showing will be in 2D.
Then I'll see it at a Drive-In so I can take my daughter, and after that maybe IMAX 3D.

Think you'll get any annoying moviegoers? That tends to always happen in special screenings.

More than likely, sadly. One particular event was for an early screening of Ted last June.

Sunday June, 16th. In IMAX 3D. I would go opening night but my schedule won't allow it. I cannot wait. I'm both terrified and excited.

I might be overdoing it, but I'm going all the way to London (not just for the movie though) to see it. 3D on Friday and twice in IMAX 3D on Saturday. I booked my tickets last week. Unfortunately I'll be going alone (neither my brother nor a couple of friends could take those days off from work). After that, I'm planning on seeing it twice here in Greece (it has a June 20 release here). Once with my brother and a few friends and once with my father (if I can convince him). Let's hope it doesn't suck...

Once on opening day, 9pm at the BFI IMAX, London. In 3D as the first 2D showing wasn't until the following tuesday!

Haha I've been in your position. I went on school trip to Australia a few years ago and the first thing on my agenda while I was there was to see Casino Royale.

Well if I wasn't going to my sister in laws wedding it's be opening day but its gonna be June 15th cause of that

it'l be 2D though cause I'm not a fan of 3D at all.

I still haven't totally given up hope of an advanced screening though

I plan to get the tickets from Walmart for 2D, and I'm debating going to the midnight screening afterward in 3D. That's rather ridiculous, I know, but I've been waiting for this movie for a long time!!!

Midnight showing at the Dickson City PA IMAX digital theater, unfortunately I will be forced to watch it in 3D but it'll be totally worth it.

Wal-mart special screening @ 7 with the wife on the 13th of June. taking my son to see it on fathers day June 16th. I plan on seeing it Saturday in 3D

I thought the Wal-Mart tickets were just for a couple hours before? Aren't they just 7pm tickets before the midnight shows that night?

Im gonna try to go at 7 from the tickets from walmart. But im still going to order the midnight showing tickets in IMAX 3D. If walmart doesn't offer the imax 3d for 7pm then i wont go to that.

Opening day, Imax 3D around 7pm. If I like the movie I'll go again that Saturday for a normal 2D showing. I would go to the midnight premiere, but work at night Sun-Thurs.

opening eve in RSA which is only on the 28th of June i believe ..

in 3D

if it's anything like what i expect it to be, multiple viewings will likely follow over the next week .. some 2D thrown in there as well

i'm highly anticipating the general feedback & reviews from the Hype types before it opens here .. holding thumbs it's everything we are hoping for

Travelling up to London first thing in the morning by coach, so i can see it in IMAX 3D.

I was also thinking about booking a late showing of the film at my local cinema back home, so that as soon as I get off the coach on the way back, I can go and see it again

If my local walmart has IMAX tickets I plan to go to the 7:00 pm June 13th showing, if not I'll just wait the five hours to see it at midnight in IMAX.
