Sure it does! Nice mix of Classic, Ultimate & WWII Cap suits! If Adi Granov does something to Iron Man or Captain America, y'know, that the final result is going to be epic!

Damn you RIM! Lol. I'm so used to you always posting awesome exclusives that when I saw you post that my first thought was that IS the Avengers costume...
Still, that would be very cool, though the adjustments I would make is some light body armour on the upper torso, like a kevlar sort of thing, but not too much.....aaaaaaaand maybe wings :P

Wow. For a WW2 design, that would've been so much better than what we actually got.
And yes, I even like the straps.

No chin straps, no helmet (a good cowl in its place). And wings, of course: with these minor changes, Granov's design is all-good for the Avengers.

I just dont like how puffy the movie suit looks. If it was tighter on him it would have looked much better.

People are working with the idea that the costume shown in this particular movie is not definitive. Evans has said that he has already tried on a new one, tighter, for the Avengers.
The creative team wanted some kind of 40's feel to the costume, and of course Johnston is more comfortable with something less superhero-ish. I think we'll have the real deal for the Avengers movie. Fingers crossed. |

Why is Whedon responsible for the X-men suits? I dont remember him directing any X-men movie.

For a spell the comics decided to follow the movies and put them in black leather suits. When Whedon took over the book he put them back in the costumes in short order.

maybe the first couple arcs but once they started getting fill in artists on there, i couldnt stand it anymore the stories turned lame, with painful art to match
