The Transformers finale comes out 3 weeks before Cap, so it won't be that much of a threat.

I think the movie will do great. I'll go as far as saying it might even get some Oscar nominations for some of the actors.

I expect to start seeing Thor trailers really soon. Next month Hemsworth's face will probably be everywhere.

As for this new red movie poster. It really doesn't make any sense to me.

I think that's likely to be incorrect. "Moronic" movie goers go see movies based on trailers and word of mouth.

I for one have never gone to see a movie because the poster "looked cool." Not once. I don't see how poor marketing could "hurt" Thor. I assume you mean box office receipts..?

Thor will probably get nominations in SFX, costume design but that's it, the movie isn't anywhere close to The Dark Knight greatness.

Something tells me Hiddleston might steal the show in the scenes he's in.

Thor will be washing down his Pop Tarts with Dr Pepper!

Anyone else NOT want to win those prizes and find the hammer can? Puking in a jet fighter or training with a personal trainer sounds like a penalty, not a prize. Great promos though.

Promotion for Thor has really "amped up" this month, I can't wait to see what's in store for next month.

Those Dr. Pepper cans and the Mjolnir standee are absolutely awesome btw.

Keep a look out for a Mjolnir Can BT!! There's only ONE Mjolnir can and you're supposed to win stuff with it I guess.

Here's a quote from the news threads a couple days ago thanks to Whiskey,

Quote:
Writes the scooper, "I work for Pepsi and we recently received the newest Dr. Pepper promo cans featuring Thor. The one can graphic is very good. There will be seven cans total similar to what was done with Iron Man. The first features Thor, this Is the only one Ive seen so far. The others are Loki, The warriors three, Sif, Heimdall, and the Destroyer. The seventh can will be the Hammer can with the words 'you are worthy'. This can will be the winner if found."

This movie has poor marketing?

I've seen the trailer three times in movie theaters...

posters...

superbowl ad...

tv ads....

So far I'd say it's the most advertised movie of the summer. Battle LA rivaled it, but that movie is out now.

Anyone know when the Dr.Pepper cans are available?
My Bro is in New York on the 5 April and I`d like him to get me one or two of this cans. Because the Germans will not get such awesome stuff.
In general, the marketing in Germany kinda sucks. Until now no Movieposters in our largest cinema and no TV spots or anything.
Sad Germany!
