Inhumans in development? - Page 2

It'd be cool to have Crystal as the focus character/lead, just to give superheroines their due. The only problem with Crystal in the MCU is the lack of Johnny Storm (and the rest of the FF, for that matter)...at least for now. She's kind of without an anchor.

Maybe Medusa would be a better focus, as BB's wife, and the only one who truly understands him.

But I really think, if you don't make BB the actual lead, that Karnak would be a better choice. He serves as team mentor, and he's really the most "human" of the Inhumans. Badass kung-fu fighter and philosopher-king with some awesome tats.....? He's tailor-made for Hollywood.

Yeah but being this philosopher, mentor type character makes him perfect for a supporting role... almost Morpheus-lite.

With Black Bolt you've got the awesome, mysterious trump-card, with Medusa you've got his anchor and the one that ties him into the rest of the group.

All three of them probably work best "guiding" the lead, helping them find their footing. So do Triton and the guy with the hooves (can never remember his name

).

Crystal is the most "normal" of them all, the one whose emotions and personality are most grounded in honest humanity. She's almost a mix between Wolvy and Rogue from the first X-Men movie, and the only one I can see working as a window into their world.

so which studio is making this movie? also i think black bolt could be the lead. they could just show more of him speaking telepathically to medusa when they are alone to show the link they have. also give the actor playing him a chance to speak.then have her speaking for him in public. after his tuning fork lights up she speaks for him. it would be a cool effect.
guy talks to black bolt, then cosmic crackle, then medusa answers the guy for black bolt.

I think a great way to introduce the Inhumans would be doing War of Kings in a Guardians sequel. I don't know if Marvel has the Sh'iar, and they definitely don't have Vulcan, but they can use one of the other 9 billion alien races in the MU as a stand in.

Or better still, do Annihilation as the Guardians sequel, and make an Inhumans movie. Then cross them over in a War of Kings movie.

I feel like you could sub in the Skrulls for the Shi'ar, and sort of do Kree/Skrull and War of Kings at the same time.

i think the best way to introduce them is the 2000 pacheco mini. it introduced the kree connection to the inhumans. then took them directly to space.

They would have to wait for awhile to do Illuminati.. Richards and Xaviar aren't with Marvel.. It would be a waste of a good story line if they cant do it right..

I loved the War of Kings and Realm of Kings series.. but I think you would need Vulcan and Havok both in it to make it good.. And the Shiar is a must for it, but I would imagine Marvel still has the rights to that race..

Not really. I think some day Marvel fans will just have to get used to the idea that not everything can appear just like in the comics because of legal reasons. You would leave out thousands of great stories waiting for certain characters otherwise.

I've made some creative changes with my cast but that's because I like the idea of the Inhumans as a family rather than a bunch of siblings.

Crystal and Medusa look GREAT - the guys all seem to either be too old or too young. And, in my opinion, the Inhumans need to be intro'd in F4!!!!

I think if Marvel hopes to expand its cosmic character an Inhumans movie is a must, have one movie on earth maybe, but get them into space as soon as possible.

If it where Marvel Knights, Inhuman's could be Marvel's version of "Night Breed". I'm told that there's a directors cut of Night Breed that was revealed that made better sense of the movie. Any way if Marvel Studio's played the cards right Inhumans could be their X-men to an extent.
