There MUST be a way to turn these Candid Drawings of the Marvel heroes into a story. Something lighthearted maybe, about the heroes, maybe taken by Peter Parker. Something.

MARVELS did that in an offbeat sort of way.

I think this comes pretty close to what you're talking about:

Not very light hearted, though. Heartwarming, maybe.

An old favourite of mine, from the Greatest Battles of the X-Men TPB, signed by Kirk Jarvinen and Josef Rubinstein (can't find it anywhere else online, was hoping to find a high res version, instead of scanning )

Some art Easter Eggs that I'm reading about on another site. I thought I'd share.

What's written on the bottle is apparently French for 'Demon in a Bottle' and it even has a little Iron Man helmet with horns.

Dr. Doom is ice skating in the background.

This was on John Byrne's 500th page as the artist of X-Men. Check out the blocks

Spider-Man, Captain America, and Thor show up in Kingdom Come (above the guy with wings).

This is from Batman: The Killing Joke

And THIS is from Web of Spider-Man 50 (not really art-related, but we'll let Killing Joke represent that).

I knew about most of those except the Dr. Doom ice skating one.
