That doesn't mean that liberties should be taken for no reason, though. In the comics, Sinister didn't create the Legacy Virus. He didn't even particularly like the Legacy Virus or what it could do to some of the mutants he's been keeping his eyes on (like the Summers family). And now you're suggesting that we take a character who was anti-LV and make him the creator of the LV in the movies. That'd be like making William Stryker a pro-mutant activist. As much as they changed the character, at least they got the fundamental anti-mutant thing right.

Sinister wanting to create the perfect mutant is craaazy?
You are against liberties but at the same time accepting of them in this current movieverse. William Stryker going from a religious nut job to a military scientist that wants to re-arrange cerebro to kill mutants is fine but if Sinister creates the Legacy virus to kill humans then you're out?

There's nothing wrong with Sinister wanting to create the perfect mutant. That's what he does. It's just that, when you get down to it, that perfect mutant usually turns out to be a Grey-Summers in his eyes. But that doesn't mean he'd stop testing other mutants and seeing what the gene pool can produce next.

Stryfe gives Sinister the legacy virus but do we really need to bring Stryfe, the clone of Cable and Apocalpyse from the future, when Sinister could just create it...............

Bryan Singer has hinted the Inevitial sequel to First Class will be jumping to when Xavier
opens the school. This when you do Cyclops becoming a student Is perfect way to bring In Sinster because of his obsession with the Summers bloodlines to create powerful mutants. And If they are changing havok to Cyclops' father you already establish the power of the family.Plus If Apocalypse makes a cameo In First Class you can have Sinster as lackey for him.Although one who might scheme against him. |

To think of it, Trask didn't even need to be in X3 .. he didn't do anything except get the fans excited about the possibility of the Sentinels ..

They can very easily ignore the Trask cameo.

You don't like the idea...I get it. Don't hide behind the it's out of character or wanting it to be more comic accurate position while accepting all the changes done so far to this movieverse that have turned out to be perfectly fine adaptations.

It Is best to Ignore the Last Stand.James Mcavoy has confirmed we will see Xavier being
crippled In First Class. Now with Trask In Last Stand he was never given first name of Boliver and was homeland security security with no hint of being a scientist. So even If Last Stand was In Cannon easy to dismiss the Trask In the film. |

We've known for a while that they're ignoring some key plot points of 'The Last Stand'.

I'm still trying to figure out why someone would write those changes to a character and think its a good idea. Let alone film it.

![]() What I said is the truth. You are ****ing about Sinister creating the virus but want Stryfe, a clone from 2000 years in the future, to create it. You would seriously want that in a movie because it's more comic accurate???

Amazing. You said you wanted a movie where Sinister creates the Legacy Virus, I disagreed, and you've been grasping at straws this whole damn time because god forbid I disagree with you.
Not once in this entire damn conversation have I even said Stryfe's name. Hell, I even said I don't want Cable in the movie. Why the hell would I want Stryfe? Where did I even say I wanted to see the Legacy Virus in a movie? I've been saying the exact opposite, and you somehow think that all means I want to see a movie with Stryfe in it. Also, I'm not hiding behind a damn thing. I want my movies more comic accurate. I've had plenty of complaints in the past about the previous X-Men movies in this regard. I've made my point, even if you can't seem to understand it. This conversation is over.

on Moira being american settles once and for all the contunity debate with regard to The Last Stand. I am very curious to know who Michael Ironside Is playing.Like I said Michael Vaughn Is brillent If he IS playing Apocalpyse.I am sure If they are bringing In Apocalypse It can be handled well.Unlike the making of Last Stand with exception of wanting Mcavoy with hair they laregly let filmmakers do the film they wanted to do. |

What was your reason for disagreeing Manic?
I will just answer for you...it was because Sinister didn't create it in the comics. That is your reason...because it didn't happen in the comics. Wonderful reason for movie adaptations.

Sorry.
I just really want to see Sinister at some point. He is a pretty good tool to make a lot of interesting plots. Marauders, Jean/Scott, Apocalypse, legacy virus...I even think he is connected to the Nazi's experiments on mutants. That could tie in nicely with Magneto.

Sinister is a schemer and a plotter. His motivations are everything and I agree that if they made Sinister the creator of the Legacy Virus you would be completely changing the character.
Now Sinister's intentions are not always understood and that is also what makes the character interesting. He could have created a virus that was more like Apocalypse's techno organic virus, or the plague from TAS and use it in a plot to wipe out inferior mutants, like the morlocks. Not one that was a pox on all mutants like the legacy virus. If Sinister was going to be used in any prequel film it should have been this one. I think it would have been great if Charles and Erik rescued young mutants like Havok. They chose to open their own school to help the victims and other young mutants after witnessing the atrocities committed at the orphanage. |

And before you cry "bloody war/it ain't happening", just remember that this film has already shown a willingness to depart from cannon. Scott should've been the first X-Man, etc. So don't be surprised if they roll out Storm here.

McAvoy's quote has nothing to do with any alleged cameo in the film. I don't even know where that cameo rumor is coming from.
This is his quote: Quote:
