I mean yeah, everyone's entitled to their opinions but Jesus, you could play Six Degrees of Hal Jordan/Barry Allen around here.
I promise not to say anything bad about Hal or Barry for at least the rest of the month

Hell, its not even just that, it's the defenders of Hal/Barry that are just as annoying. It'd just be nice if it was kept to the GL/Flash threads and out of everything else coz it's getting a tad old. But that's just me. Back to Aquaman!

I heard that *spoilers* someone will hoover him up, and he will possess the vacum cleaner. It is supposed to be some kind of joke on the fact that in the general public's mind Aquaman has always sucked.

Yeah, he dresses up in women's clothes too in that one.
I herby retract my last gag as it was not that funny and give much respect to that comeback, which much outdid me. i am not kissing your ass, it is just that that never happens to me and i am a big head and i had to mark that landmark moment.

it was a good one. I won a competition doing that when I was 14. I have never thought about doing it since though, honest.
edit: but my mum is going out tonight, so i might give it go then, see if it does anything for me.

If he goes Black Adam on everyone's butt I will be for a good while. This is a skewed timeline anyway with Zoom messing crap up so it's perfect for writers to go wild. And it will showcase how Aquaman can perform when he isn't holding back and is freakin' pissed off and evil.

Except I hope he never says those things like he does in BATB. The Comic world is different from a childrens show.

http://dcu.blog.dccomics.com/2011/04...94tony-bedard/

One of the central conceits of the FLASHPOINT world is that we’ll see the DC Universe in a way we’ve never seen it before. (Without ruining/spoiling major plot points that we should keep under wraps…) What in the mini-series you are working on is going to make fans sit back and say, “I’ve never seen that before?”
Tony Bedard: EMPEROR AQUAMAN presents a harder, crueler Aquaman than we’ve ever seen. How exactly he ended up like that is one of the great mysteries of the mini-series, but this is a guy who is ready to wipe out the surface world, which is a lot of fun to write because there’s no pulling punches, no holding back.

Bedard also mentioned he loves Aquaman, outrageous!

Meh. But the Ivan Reis news has me looking forward to the post-Flashpoint series a lot more now. Can't wait until Flashpoint's Aquahitler is done.
