Just like Emma Stone looked most like Mary Jane, yet they always hire that person to play someone else. Maybe Olga Kurylenko or Emily Blunt will end up as Yelena Belova in a future movie.

I hope that's not her hairstyle (not color) for the movie. I would like something more like classic Widow's style with the bangs, not some center parting.

I do think she is overrated in the looks department....however she looked strangely fine in Iron Man 2. Amazing what red hair and a catsuit can do lol.

I really think being directed by Whedon is going to pay dividends for the character. Even people who didn't like her in Iron Man 2 will hopefully like her with Whedon at the helm.

(I think people would have like RDJ and Hems and Renner and hopefully Evans regardless of who directed this)

I took a nap earlier and had this dream that I was somewhere where Whedon was filming the Avengers. I wasn't expecting to see them, but out of a car emerged Scarlett Johansson, Cobie Smulders and two others that I can't remember - possibly Clark Gregg and possibly one of them might've been Whedon. The awesome thing about the dream was that, as I stood there and Scarlett passed me by, she looked my way and smiled at me. Not just a slight smile but a beaming smile like in one of those photos above. For some reason she still seemed to have blonde hair though. I'm not sure I actually knew it was her until she looked at me, but I was glad she acknowledged me.

I tried to follow to see what they were filming, but it looked like they were just having a meeting.

She played a very wooden Black Widow in IM2, not to mention shes not the best actress .

Wish Emily Blunt wouln't have had scheduling problems, would have preferred her since she is actually a decent actress.

I don't think she could have pulled off the accent but she's a decent enough actress. I didn't find her wooden, I liked her performance. Bland, maybe, but that comes down to the way the character was written. I imagine Whedon will help out significantly in that respect.
