They'll use Barry Flash and Hal Jordan as the GL instead of Kyle Rayner, i'm 100% positive about that. Will be interesting to see if they will have Aquaman with the hook or not.

Incorrect. JL: Crisis on Two Earths, GL: First Flight and Wonder Woman we're all original stories, same goes for the DTV stories tho i believe Jonah Hex was adapted from a short story.

"Crisis on Two Earths" was based on the old DC Crisis stories about alternate dimensions, and the Crime Syndicate and all that.

I feel that DC is getting lazy. I want some original stories like the JLU series gave us. All they are doing now is regurgitating stories that have already been written. I already got the comic book! I know how the story ends!

I can see them doing this every now and then.....but now they are doing it more.

Yeah but that same argument is like saying "Wonder Woman is based off old DC WW Origin comics" and same applies with Green Lantern. They made their own story and ofcourse it has plot elements from old comics, but they had an unused movie script for JL to gap between JL and JLU and they adjusted the story abit such as Hal Jordan being the GL and so forth.

Saw this on CBM, any truth to it?

Quote:
Justice League Doom is a animated movie going to be partly based on the Justice League Tower of Babel series deals with Batman's perceived betrayal to the superhuman community by keeping records concerning the strengths and weaknesses of his allies in the JLA, including plans to neutralise his allies in a fight. His files are stolen by Ra's al Ghul, who uses them to defeat the League through a coordinated attack to prevent them from interfering with his latest scheme.

On some sites I was web-searching Andrea Ramano had cast 5 of the 7 members of the Justice League. The roles Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash Wally West and Aquaman have been cast already no casting yet for Ra's Al Ghul.

For Superman it's none other then Hercules himself Kevin Sorbo sounds ok Should've got Jon Hamm but heard he might voice Superman for Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns then again just rumors.

For Aquaman Ray Winestone has been cast as the King of Alantis he was good as Beowulf plus he has the type of voice for Aquaman.

Wonder Woman will be voiced by Tia Carrare who played on Waynes World 1-2, Relic Hunter never saw that show. She kind of I said "Kind Of" has the voice for Wonder Woman from interviews I saw her on.

The Flash (Wally West) will be voiced by Christopher Daniel Barnes best known for voicing Spider-Man on the 1994 tv series and Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions well voiced the Noir Spider-Man.

Finally Batman will be voiced by Dennis Quaid yes I was just surprised as you guys are believe me but Andrea must have a reason why she cast Quaid.

The animated movie will be released in early 2012.
Are we really not going to get Kyle Rayner in this? C'mon, Kyle Rayner dude! I'd like to see him in an animated film.

The cast except for kevin Sorbro would make me rent it.

I hope for the Dark Knight Returns they throw fans a bone.Let's have Michael Ironside voice batman after not using him as Darkseid for Superman/Batman:Apocalypse.

Before anyone gets too excited, this story cites no source... so it appears to just be wishful thinking. Besides, this info doesn't really mesh with a recent interview by the movie's director Lauren Montgomery:

Montgomery: I have moved on to "Justice League: Doom." That one is the next one up. It's another Justice League project and I think it will be very entertaining.

Kilowog is a particular favorite of Lauren Montgomery

It doesn't fit in continuity-wise with any of the past DCAU films, correct?

Montgomery: We tend to say the disclaimer that none of our movies are technically in continuity with any others, so that would also apply to this one. We didn't purposely make it a sequel to anything prior but inevitably, there are going to be similarities. It's all the same characters.

The Justice League versus the Legion of Doom -- a lot of us grew up watching that classic confrontation Saturday mornings on "Challenge of the Super Friends." I know you can't say much, but I have to ask, will we see the Hall of Doom in all its Darth Vader-inspired glory?

Montgomery: It wouldn't be Legion of Doom without it. [Laughs] So yeah, you'll see all of the good stuff.

What about the lineup? Do we get the classic lineup featuring the likes of Lex Luthor, Brainiac and Bizaaro?

Montgomery: There are so many villains to choose from. I can't say too much but I can say that each of the superheroes will have one of their supervillains featured!

Interesting, i guess they wanted a superhero vs. supervillain brawl instead of superheroes vs. ninjas.

Daly, Conroy, Fillion, and Rosenbaum are in! Cyborg is taking Aquaman's place as well. Interesting.

Quote:
Here comes the Justice League! An all-star cast has been assembled to provide voices for the iconic team of superheroes in Justice League: Doom, the latest animated DVD-movie in Warner Home Video's series of DC Comics adaptations. Castle star Nathan Fillion will reprise the role of Green Lantern, which he first played in Green Lantern: Emerald Knights. He'll be joined by Tim Daly and Kevin Conroy, the longtime voices for Superman and Batman, respectively. Rounding out the cast are several of Conroy's old costars from Cartoon Network's 2001-06 Justice League series (known as Justice League Unlimited in later seasons): Smallville's Michael Rosenbaum as the Flash, Alias alum Carl Lumbly as Martian Manhunter and veteran voice actress Susan Eisenberg as Wonder Woman. Cyborg, a character not seen on Justice League, joins the group for this movie and will be played by Bumper Robinson (The Game).

The movie, due to be released in early 2012 on DVD, Blu-ray, digital download and on-demand, is based on the popular DC storyline JLA: Tower of Babel, written by Mark Waid. The plot: Batman's secret contingency plans to defeat his own teammates (should any of them go rogue) are stolen and put into action by a group of super villains.

Once again running the show behind the scenes is executive producer Bruce Timm, the man responsible for dozens of beloved animated superhero projects, including the original Justice League. Lauren Montgomery, a veteran of several animated movies in this series, including the upcoming Batman: Year One, is the director. The script was written by acclaimed animation/comic book writer Dwayne McDuffie, who passed away earlier this year.

A trailer for Justice League: Doom will premiere at New York Comic Con on Friday, Oct. 14, and is featured on the Batman: Year One DVD, which goes on sale Tuesday, Oct. 18.

Awesome cast! More Kevin!

But still, I was hoping Chris Barnes would play Flash. I know IMDB isn't reliable, but I had faith. I wanted to see my two favourite voice actors of all time in the same movie.

Ugh, after getting people like Bryan Cranston and Jon Polito for Batman: Year One, this is pretty boring.
