Hmmm.... as many of Bush's policies, mostly his WAR policies that I hated....
9/11 and Katrina, neither of which were his fault...****ed up this country A LOT... people don't realize what Katrina did to our oil industry in the gulf. As far as Fannie and Freddie....Bush sent several, I believe around 12 or 13 memos warning Dodd's committee of what was coming down the pike...McCain and Hutchinson put up at least 3 bills that would have stopped the Fannie and Freddie debacle that did not even get out of Dodd's committee.... That had something to do with the problems under Bush as well, not to say he screwed up royally, in many ways...but he certainly is not the only one to blame for that mess........BUT, as he has said many times....the buck stops with him. |
