Ethnic clashes are a left over of European imperialism creating borders and disregarding this element. But over the next century, this should be an evolving situation into more diversity.

The civil war in Libya may be coming to an end soon as rebels move on the capital.

Almost all of Tripoli has fallen under the control of the rebels. And two of Gaddafi's sons have been arrested.

They're not ****ing around now. Other countries with similar regimes may very well follow suit if it succeeds.

So, who thinks Gadhafi is already out of Tripoli and trying to get out of the country? The rebels don't have the city yet, but within a few days they will and the talk will turn to installing a new government. Another great historic moment in the MidEast and one that again did not require us sending in troops and "buying" a nation building project. Feels nice.

Here's hoping the Libyan people can keep the freedom they've fought so hard for these past few months.

So, both of the sons will be sent to the Hague in the Netherlands to stand trial.....which means that by the time both are convicted, they will probably be in their 70's.

Rebels now control most of Tripoli and Gadhafi disappeared. Huh...I thought he said he would "martyr" himself to Libya....

This may be the turning point for the Arab Spring....if the rebellion can avoid fractionalizing in the coming weeks and months.
