Just bought and watched this. It's like the Chinese Rocky IV. Worth watching. Anybody else see this?

Seen it for a few time in Hong Kong. I like the first one more. This one is a little bit over the top.

How is the sequel compared to the first one? I saw the first one on netflix and really enjoyed it.

Both movies are so awesome. Sammo Hung is masterful in this and Donnie Yen is his usual awesome self. Fantastic choreographed fight scenes and sets a third movie up nicely. But yes, Ip Man 2 is definitely more over the top than the first but that ain't a bad thing at all.

This was the last one, the Bruce Lee stuff was covered at the end with pics and a little bio.

I actually liked Ip Man 2 better than Ip Man 1... I don't like Donnie Yen as an actor tho... his face looks very stiff most of the time

That is also a film called "The Legend Is Born: Ip Man". It is about a younger Ip Man. Not done by Donnie Yen, but still worth watching.

This one is okay, but as others have said, the first one is much better. The fights are damn ridicilous. You should really check out his movie Flash Point.

Flash Point is quite good, but I like S.P.L much more.(Flash Point is kind of a prequel to S.P.L) S.P.L is one of his best IMO.

IP man 2 was good but that boxer in no way shape or form would have been really been able to endure and dish out the beatings he did to sammo and to ip man. Bullcrap.

The end fight scene in Flashpoint is one of the most brutal fights I have ever seen. I watched that damn scene over and over. And Donnie's fight with Sammo Hung in S.P.L. was incredibly impressive.

I finally got around to watching this and have to say this movie was fantastic. Can't tell if I liked this one or the 1st better. What I'm most impressed by Donnie Yen is how well he conveys the humble and respectful demeanor of his character. Can't help but root for the guy no matter what.

Looking up his bio blew my mind to find out he's 48. He looked mid-30s to me at the oldest but he's pulling off all these crazy moves still.
