I think Amy didn't dark her hair because of her, Faora must be brunette, and both lead female characters with dark hair, pale skin and BIG blue eyes would have been "confusing".

Confusing?? That's the silliest thing I've heard today. Just because people have similar phenotypic traits doesn't mean that they're identical twins. Were you confused when your namesake Ursa had the same color hair as Margot Kidder's Lois in Superman 2?

I don't know the exact word to define it (English is not my first language). And I'm not an idiot, this was not what I mean.

But in movies they almost never put two look likes if they aren't suppose to be look likes, especially if they are antagonists.

The same way they put a blonde Lois Lane in Smallville series because of the brunette Lana.

Amy and Antje are very look alikes. The actress who played Ursa and Margot Kidder weren't look alikes.

Okay. I understand what you're trying to say. Lane wasn't really what I consider blond (in Smallville) though. Her hair, although less dark than Lana's, was light brown with highlights or whatever.

(Laura Vandervoort (who played Supergirl) and Chloe were the only recurring blond characters on that show.)

But yeah.. I get your point. I don't really think Amy and Antje have similar features though. Amy is more feminine looking; and Antje has this almost cold, emotionless look about her.

Yep, thay are different, but they have some strong characteristics in common, like the big blue eyes, maybe that's why thay want to make them very different.

And I know that Erica Durance was never considered blond in USA, but here in Brazil she was, hehe.

1. Amy and Antje look NOTHING alike... other than the fact they both have eyes, a nose and lips.

2. Lois was never blonde in Smallville. It did get quite a light brown at one point, but never that far. And her hair changed for the better as the series progressed.







But at the end of the day, when you look at those pics, which one looks the most like Lois?

For me, it's always the darker the better.

The second hair color is better, black hair didn't match with her, and it looked always dirty...

if you do not think they have a resemblance, okay, it was only an assumption about the "controversy" of hair color.

This is a promo pic of Durance from her first appearance on Smallville. Sure, she's got some sort of lightening on top, but if you look at the bottom especially (past her chin), you can see that she had light brown hair even then.
