Looking at them together, I can see it too. Similar phenotypic traits (hair and eye color) as well. I will say that Traue sort of gives off a somewhat icy vibe though, and Cavill does not.

it appears faora has her own symbol. i guess that means she isn't part of zod's clan or the glyphs are family emblems.

I like that Snyder is using the pentagon as a Kryptonian "heraldic cartouche" of sorts for the crests.

I like how Faora's symbol looks vaguely reminiscent of an F, and Zod's looks vaguely reminiscent of a Z, but neither looks so much like the respective english letter that it is campy or cheesy.

Dru-Zod's symbol doesn't look anything like a Z (it looks more like a U) just like Kal-El's symbol looks nothing like an E (it obviously resembles an S). The house crest symbols are supposed to be based on a fictional Kryptonian language unique to any tongue spoken on Earth.

I know the symbols are based in Kryptonian, not English.
