Maybe we'll get a REAL Galactus this time instead of a giant cloud.

That may be too much to hope for. I mean, he'd be a giant floating dude in space.
Then again, there are rumors that Surtur might be a villain for Thor 2...

Throw in Sersi to transmute Mt. Rushmore into stone giants. Galactus vs. 1000-ft Abe Lincoln!

Thanos is an "all purpose Marvel Cosmic Villain"
Of course I agree with what your said, but of his main adversary s were not really Avengers -Marvell -Surfer -Drax -Fantastic Four -Nova -there is the eternal factor with starfox, sersi, etc...thats so long ago and just wouldnt make sense Thanos history with Thor, Iron Man, Cap, etc.. is so light and minor.

Latino Review, who are usually pretty reliable, said Thanos makes an appearance. I'm guessing he shows up at the end or something. Maybe Loki messing around with the Cosmic Cube gets his attention.
Would love to see Thanos vs Odin ala "Blood and Thunder". |

Huh. Knew about that arc but did not know it was some kind of rogue Ultron program.

It turned out to be the "good" version of his program I think it was 8 or something that adapted over time. That was a good arc.

That was the only one of the big 3 that I didn't read during the post-Heroes Reborn period. I was all over Captain America, Thor, and Avengers. Can't remember why I didn't go for Iron Man too. Probably money. I was on a high school budget at the time.

It was Quesada that wrote that arc too. Busiek relaunched the title then handed off after a couple of years.

His face is on a picture somewhere in the previews. That's all I know.

Me too. It looked like Peter in the previews, but that was before I found out exactly what Superior Spidey was. Though the previews seem to show him in the classic Spidey costume and not the Superior costume, but that's hardly concrete.
Honestly, I'd really hate it if it were Ock. It's such a potentially big event and is drawing comparisons to AoA, I just don't think Ock-Spidey should be a part of that. Plus it may be the last time we see Peter for a year or two anywhere in Marvel comics. |

Cool... looks like Hasboro has registered the name again... so maybe more toys are coming along as well as more appearances in comics... and maybe 2 full volumes of ROM Essentials...

Well, remember that SpOck looks like Pete... so the only giveaway would be the slight costume changes... and that can be quickly fixed...

Not too mentioned that the Peter in the Point One was acting all afraid... might make sense if SpOck was a tad overwhelmed by the odds of such a battle...
Is it possible that Marvel had that much insight on the SpOck storyline? I had chalked it up at the time to Bendis' poor characterization of the 616 Spider-Man... ![]() ![]() ![]()
