Little Mystique was adorable.

I'm loving these. Well done, Fox.

Aww, little Mystique and little Xavier!
Makes me sad she plotted to kill him in X1...

Was that little Xavier? Didn't look like Laurence Belcher. I'm pretty sure he's a bit older than her. :/

I'm probably wrong.

I think it was him. Oh and I love these short character trailers, but if they put up more I'll try my best to not watch it.

Double checked, yeah it's him. I never assumed they were supposed to be the same age in this film. Hmm...

Also, I don't like that Mystique's voice isn't altered like in X1/2. But now I'm just nitpicking.

These character trailers are really great, out of the four i've rewatched Banshee's and Beast's the most. Can't wait for more, hopefully Mags and X are next!

Charles probably taught her since they met at childhood to hide herself with her power. And now Erik's liberating her.
And it adds more to her "We shouldn't have to" line in X2.

Anyone else thinking beast uses a sample of mystique's DNA to cure himself since she can change her appereance to normal and he hopes to do the same so he can rid himself of his mutation but ends up tuning into beast.I can also see a falling out with them with magneto making her see that her mutation is a gift and not to be ashamed of it while beast is ashamed of his mutation.

Nicholas Hoult confirmed this.

And I'm surprised they made Mystique and Xavier the same age. Considering McAvoy and Lawrence have quite an age gap. I'm not sure I'm liking this.

Where was it stated they were the same age? Kid Charles looked a little older than little Mystique, or is it just me? Plus there's a four year age gap between the two...

I don't know...she seemed to be younger than him. Lil' Raven looks six or seven, and lil' Charles ten or eleven.
If we think of Raven as a 19 year-old girl the first time we see her as an adult in the film, Charles would be like 24, which matches the description of the character as being "in his 20s"...

This is the only superhero movie that I'm gonna end up spoiling the hell out of myself on...

I just love this franchise too much...Dammit.

I'd be totally fine if they stopped it right here but you KNOW they are about to usher in a barrage of tv spots with a lot of spoilery footage soon..

I'm sure they'll add the voice effect. Although it's so pure and innocent how young Mystique asks young Xavier that.

Love the Havok one (I can watch it again and again...and again...), but the Beast and Mystique ones give nice depth, er, emotion to the characters...Mystique's really makes you think back to the trilogy, this seem to really show some groundwork...

...I love the Banshee one too, certainly seems he may be a scene stealer...

...I haven't been this pumped for a film for a good while, I wish I could fast forward the next few weeks...

Well, let's think about it. I'm under the assumption she was born blue. If she weren't, and it manifested at puberty, then she would be able to shape-shift then. We know that's not the case because she was clearly blue when she tried to go to school - "people like you are the reason I was afraid to go to school as a child." So, she was born blue, but she couldn't shape-shift. Perhaps the vocal effect is something that is a result of her shape-shifting mutation at puberty, since she can alter her voice when she alters her body. It makes sense when you think about it. So, young Mystique might not have the vocal effect, but shape-shifting, blue, teenage/young adult Mystique probably will.

Ahhh ok makes sense.

I guess my major concern is that Xavier and Mystique knew each other as kids.

Why the concern?

It's all character development

We don't know that at this stage.

I just feel like its the Spider-man Animated series all over again. Where every character is somehow related to the next.

Less than a month to go. We'll see how this pans out.
