Re: Think we will ever an equally beautiful scene like this in the new movie?
The kiss looked a little weird and took me out of the experience.

So its gonna be more like a shallow jeph loeb comic than the best superman story of the last decade?
Nevermind that...I'm still bothered by the fact that someone actually compared All Star Superman to Superman Returns |

i dont think there are many scenes that are as cool or that get you as pumped up... snyder knows how to make amazing scenes and cool ... he knows how to make scenes that pump up the audience... thats what i am always looking for in movies and he has the most exciting scenes i've seen in a while other than the silence of the lambs escape of hannibal or baptism from godfather or ip man fight vs. the 10 blackbelts

Grow a suspension of disbelief or stop watching fiction.

That is an awesome ending, but nothing like that will ever see the light of day in a Superman film... Or at least not until the end of a very successful trilogy...

All-Star Superman would have been a great script for Superman Returns if they went into it knowing it would be the END of the Donner Superman.
I did enjoy his death scene here 100x more than any Doomsday adaptation. This was my favorite of the animated movies too. They really nailed that precrisis feel, with scientist Luthor, old school Clark and the Silver Age Superman. |
