Love, love LOVE the new shield design Supermed. It's hard to believe that WONT be the finished new design. Are you sure you haven't had secret access to the WB design because I'd be completely happy if that was the finished shield.

I wouldn't, it's fantastically well made and designed, but the top isn't right, it looks cut off and makes the whole thing look out of centre and uneven.

even though i'm against a dark suit (especially all black) and Shannon with facial hair...it's a cool suit and a well made manip.

i don't want to sound like the villain, but I don't like this emblem that is being posted lately. I DON'T HATE IT, but the Superman needs to be classic, the emblem being posted it looks a bit futuristic (I'm picturing the Burton concept of Superman Lives)

I think the emblem looks great, but would like to see it slightly elongated - it's a little squashed looking. This may help with removing some of the 'futuristic' look from it as it will stretch the S

Why has to be classic??The classic shield is good for the comics not for films, this shield is modern and has that alien feel, and for me itīs more realistic that the classic one....

However, I feel the sharp bevel is a little too villainy for Superman. I liked the soft bevel better. |

It does look great though and it's well made, props to whoever made it (especially the one with the Sun), but this should not be the emblem for the reboot |

I agree. It works alot better in 2D. Or at least a very low-set bevel for the suit itself. |

I guess a lot of this will depend on whether you believe the 'S' is primarily the family crest (alien in origin), or whether it's just meant to stand for 'Superman' (earthly in origin).
Always preferred the family crest line myself. |
