its a well made manip, but i dont like that \S/ shield. its trying to hard to modernize a classic design that doesnt require much changing.

agreed....but nothing against Supermed at all, he's provided some quality fan art, and for sure it's a "cool" shield. personally, i'd just prefer something more classic/timeless.

Cool design, Supermed! Ignore the lame "iconic/classic" trumpeters. I really like how you incorporated the "S" into the diamond frame. Perhaps you can play with the shape more and add curves to round out the "S". It's a bit too sharp and thin at some points.

I really like this shield design! It manages to pay tribute to the more traditional logo, but also really looks like a design that could come out of an alien civilization. Bravo!!!

I love the design but would love to also see that done in several different ways...a little more classic and less choppy, but otherwise I absolutely love it and will be slightly disappoint if we don't get something similar to that

i quite like your alterations, though i like how SuperMed's yellow portions would form a nice oval shape without the red in the middle. if you could get it that way, it'd be a pretty ace alternate to the traditional "S"...

I'd be angry if you didn't.

The people saying it doesn't look classic enough or too edgy... the shield needs to look modern and unique. They can't do the same thing over and over, you have to make some new changes.

And although it's hard to get used to change, having a more modernized and alien look suits the film. It has the right look for a film called the Man of STEEL.

Maybe this film is doing for Superman what Begins and TDK did for Batman. Make it more modern and edgy. If that's the case they need to update the costume and everything else.

Although you can always go watch the Christopher Reeve movies for nostalgia.
