Unfortunately, as the weeks go on, she's coming off as an airheaded blonde who doesn't seem to catch onto anything. I get the feeling that if the two of them did come face to face with each other, Bridget is just going to pass it off that she's probably looking in a mirror and catching her reflection.

THats true & not even the fact that one of them has a big tummy would get Bridget to realize it Hopefully Bridgets stupidness does not rub off on to Juliette & Juliette still ends up thinking that Cathrine can be taken down a notch. Andrew sure knows how to pick them

Caught up on the last two episodes, good stuff! It looks like the mystery behind who was trying to kill Siobhan in the first ep is going to be wrapped up by the end of the season, Catherine is a nut job. Was Siobhan in on scamming back the money from her?

I like Machado's role being brought closer into the central story and character, I think that's a good move.

Not in this show. They're never able to put anything together and see what should be staring them in the face.

I was really hoping they would tie up all ties in this finale but of course they didnt! Now I want a second season and we probably wont get one at that so we will never see a S/B showdown.

Well they tied up most of the storylines. They wrapped up the Bodaway one, and Bridget finally confessed to Andrew and Juliet, plus Bridget found out (last week) who was trying to kill Siobhan (ie it was Catherine). And in the end they also had Bridget find out that Siobhan was still alive. So it's not like they didn't bring those things to some kind of head.

It's just that we're left hanging whether Bridget will ever get back with Andrew, and what kind of confrontation Bridget and Siobhan will have if they ever meet now. But they probably did that purposely to generate demand for the series. But if it doesn't come back, then there is some kind of closure to the series: Bridget is no longer living the fantasy/lie, she knows Siobhan is still alive, Siobhan has nowhere to go with her schemes anymore, and all the other loose ends mentioned above.

Do we know definitely if there is not going to be a 2nd season?

I caught up on the last two eps, the lesbian lovers twist with Catherine and Olivia was hilariously left-field.

I think they did a good job tying up the stories of both sisters and who wanted them dead respectively. Now the set up is there for an open feud between them if a second season gets the go ahead.

They should've had the two sisters meet at least in the finale. Now we'll never see what happens to them or whether Bridget ever gets back with Andrew. I guess we have to take it that they never do, and Siobhan just decides not to continue her revenge scheme against Bridget.

So there's a small chance Ringer could come back, if ever...

Network president Mark Pedowitz was candid about the failure of the ambitious Sarah Michelle Gellar-led series, which he touted heavily last summer.

"The fans are still writing me, they want it desperately," said Pedowitz during the Television Critics Assn. summer press tour session Monday morning.

If he were to do it over again, Pedowitz admitted that the hourlong drama about twins may be better off with a more cable-friendly model. Translation: a shorter run.

"One of the things you learn about the level of these serialized shows is less may be more," he said. "Twenty-two [episodes] might have been too many. So if there's a consideration to redo it, we'd probably go anywhere from six to 13."

22 was a bit long, although Revenge was about that length. They should do at least one more season on cable to wrap things up. I didn't think it could really last much more than 2 seasons anyway.

But that wasn't the bump we saw in Ringer. I can't remember now whether Siobhan actually had her babies. If not, they could write SMG's pregnancy into it as being part of that same one.

They probably only need 12 or 13 episodes to wrap things up anyway.
