The game isn't perfect, but involving enough that no flaw has stopped me from thinking this game is incredible. Tbh, the way the game is 'directed' makes the detective skill kind of null, but it's still incredibly fun and challenging.

I knew something was up after the first case when you found all the evidence you needed out in the open, so I hated how you couldn't protest to charging somebody because it obviously wasn't them; But Cole was under pressure from his boss to get the case closed and there was enough evidence to make an arrest so it's not really his fault.

I would love an LA Noire set in 70's San Francisco, with a character named Unclean Henry Callahad :P

I saw this article posted yesterday on Giantbomb, and thought it was interesting.

Going for 100% on this game. It's sad that the most difficult thing will be finding all the cars.

Even that isn't all that difficult. I just hoped in every car I saw for a second and, by games end, I had 82 without getting any of the hidden vehicles.

I had to use a guide because there are several cars that can only be in found in certain locations and bad enough most of them look the same anyway.

Started out not caring for Vice, now I quite like it. A lot more action than the other desks. Also.. Anyone notice the voice of Garrus (from Mass Effect..) as a background character? Took me by surprise.

Doesn't leveling up in rank unlock the locations on your map? I've found a few hidden vehicles on my map by following the "?"

Those are just for the hidden cars, but there's only 15 of those. There's still a good 80 or so cars to find throughout the map.

Oh, I got you. They're not hidden...but can only be found in a certain block. Okay.

Sweeeet I finally got 100%. Hunting for those cars was a paaaaain lmao the only silver lining in it all is I had to run over Earle like 50 times to get the Lincoln Limo to spawn across from The Black Caesar.

For some reason, all of the cars that were supposed to spawn in certain parking lots never did, yet ironically, as I would drive around a corner, I would always crash into the exact car I was looking for.

I really hate the cover system in this game it is god awful but for some reason I really wish there was more gun combat. Something shooting a bad guy was awesome.

Know what else is awful in this game? The whole "balance yourself by pushing your stick left and right while walking forward" it's a lot MORE awful when you're doing it mid chase...

Thankfully you only do it like 2 or 3 times and the people running from you never get away because of the balancing. I figured out why I like the shooting, the guns feel powerful when you use them especially the shotgun.

Did the first 3 cases and so far Im not quite feeling the game. Its not grabbing me as I thought it would. I dont like how the cars handle. Way too floaty and dont feel like theres much weight to them. Im also not a fan of the cover system and the first shootout was a bit of a chore to get through. Still early in the game so I hope it gets better.

See I think the cars handle great, that is one thing that's not an issue with me. The cover system isn't good at all though.

The cars handle fine. Driving and the brawls are the best-implemented parts of gameplay, easily.

The cover system and gunplay suck. And the chases get old fast. Yay for fat people being marathon runners and outrunning Phelps until the game decides you can get close enough to catch them!

Yeah, that's a bit stupid. Phelps is obviously in shape AND a former Marine, but Johnny Dough Belly can outrun him easily. Dumb.

I also HATE that when I drive (I now make my partner do it) and I turn on my siren cars seem to want to ram me... and pedestrians jump out in front of me...

Haha. I've noticed that when you have your siren on, just about every car on your side of traffic pulls over to the shoulder of the road, even if they're in the left lane and you're in the right lane, thus causing you to hit them.

I haven't noticed the pedestrians yet. They usually actually do get away from me with the siren on. It's when the siren isn't on that I hit them.

The pedestrian thing doesn't happen often, but I could be speeding along with my siren blaring and some dude with pull a squirrel and instead of just crossing the road he freezes and runs back the other way, or directly at me.

Yeah, that's what I mean about the cars, I get the cars on your side pulling over... that's a given.... but the cars on the LEFT lane pulling over to the right? Really?

Sweet. I just found Brandon Keener (Garrus, ME/ME2) in the game.

Did they not beleive in wearing gloves back in the 40s? Was that not a part of basic police protocal when investigating a crime scene. Playing now and noticing how you just grab and touch evidence with your bare hands, potentially ruining any chances of a fingerprint trace
