I will have see the movie again at the AMC on 42nd St, to keep up the tradition of seeing all of the X-Men movies there.

First movie I ever saw at that theater was the first X1.

I decided to go and found out almost all the showings are sold out. I wasn't expecting that. Luckily I'll be able to see this at 12:01 am and I don't have to work til 11am tomorrow.

Also going alone , Like a boss , I don't feel like waiting and I have to work all weekend.

You're not the only one going alone. I am also going alone to my showing. One person declined, but most everyone else has full schedules over the weekend, and nobody is really available.

Meh, I don't care. What's so wrong about going to a movie by yourself? I've done it a few times before.

I'll be interested to hear your thoughts on it.

I go to the movies on my own all the time. I work in the city and my friends all have young kids, so if I waited for them to have time I'd miss all the movies. So if I want to go, I just go too.

Tomorrow I'm seeing First Class with my dad. He's psyched, we've seen all of the X-Men movies together.

I used to not want to go to movies by myself either, but I knew I wasn't going to be able to get people to go with me to X-Men: The Last Stand 5 days straight...

Yup, that's right, I saw that movie in theatres 5 days in a row:

Midnight showing
Opening day
Saturday
Sunday
Monday was my birthday, so I went to see it again on my birthday

I've also seen a few other movies in theatres by myself.

2nd time I saw X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Terminator: Salvation. Hell, I even saw the first X-Men movie by myself the 2nd time I saw it, as well as Coyote Ugly on the same day (I was trapped at the mall for like 10 hours. I had flown out to see my brother, and he couldn't get that day off work, and took me to the mall with him so I wasn't trapped at his house all day while he worked)

That's what I'm saying . Sometimes it's convenient. I don't always want to go alone but if everyone's working or uninterested I can just go by myself and still have a good time.

That's another reason. I always try to go opening night/weekend. I also like there to be a big crowd so I can hear reaction. One time I went to a film on a Monday and there were like four people - not the best time , lol.

Was your dad into the comics?

I went to a Broadway show by myself just because I felt like going one night after work a few months ago. Had a great time.

Not so much X-Men...he said he was more into Batman and Superman as a kid, and he's all excited for Green Lantern too. But he's loved all of the X-Men movies so far.

He can't get over how many superhero movies come out now, he never had them when he was a kid.

Right On. I can only imagine what it must be like for him. I remember when X-Men was first coming out I was amazed it was actually going to happen.
Some might argue they are releasing too many comic films but I think it's fortunate.

He loves it. I remember he was just like after Batman Begins.

Whe I was a kid it was stuff like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, ET, and Back to the Future coming out in the summer, and I'd love to see movies like that in the summer again along with the superhero stuff (I can't wait for Super 8 next week) but as long as the movies stay good, I'm happy.

That's awesome. Also I agree , there should be a decent mix. Super 8 definitely has that feel to it.

Leaving in twenty minutes, can't wait

Just bought my ticket. 2 hours to go.

Going by myself. I see movies by myself all the time. I figure, I'm basicly watching by myself anyways when I go with a group of people, so whats the difference? the only thing that sucks is when my friends don't see it, I can't talk to them about it but who cares?

Ugh, 2 hours...

pretty packed.

I got up to go grab ab X-Men cup that they advertised (but didn't have) and when I came back my seat was taken. Lol.

I moved up a little closer (I like sitting close at movies anyways) and 3 minutes til start time (that will probably be delayed another 15, haha)
