http://www.hollywoodlife.com/2011/06...woman-costume/

“Anne’s outfit is more tactical, like the comic book, than the previous Batman movies,” a source very close to the costume design tells us exclusively. “She will definitely be wearing the goggles and it’s going to be less sexy than Halle Berry and Michelle Pfeiffer’s Catwoman costumes. She’s going to look more like a robber.”

BBC News is reporting that stuntmen have been making parachute jumps at a Highlands airstrip for the production:

"Parachutists dressed in black and using a private jet painted black have been in action at Cairngorm Gliding Club's site at Feshie Bridge.

A former US military C130 Hercules transport aircraft linked to The Dark Knight Rises has also been making flights from Inverness Airport.

Feshie Bridge was reported as the location for filming earlier this month by Gavin Musgrove, editor of the Strathspey and Badenoch Herald.

A chartered helicopter was also at the club's airstrip along with the black jet."

Also, a London Sound Recordist/Boom Operator named Freddie Z Roche Tweeted the following nugget:

"'The Dark Knight Rises': Inside Info, they are Building 2 Attack Helicopters in the same design as the Bat Mobile from The Dark Knight! BOOM"

And BeinaMovie.com says you be an extra on the Pittsburgh set on Saturday, August 6th...

"We'll be cheering on the Gotham Rogues Football team as they take the field against the Rapid City Monuments."

EXCLUSIVE: THE DARK KNIGHT RISES TEASER TRAILER & POSTER COMING!
By SuperHeroHype
Jul 8th, 2011

SuperHeroHype has received word from a trustworthy source that the teaser trailer and teaser poster for Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises is set to hit theaters with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 next week! We're hearing that the teaser trailer is a minute and 33 seconds long and will play in both 2D theaters and IMAX 3D screens.

You can also expect the first trailer for Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows and new trailer for Happy Feet Two to hit theaters with the "Harry Potter" finale. The first trailer for Contagion is also expected to be released, but not with "Harry Potter."

We're not sure when these would come online - it could be next week before "Harry Potter" comes out or after that weekend.

Opening in theaters on July 20, 2012, The Dark Knight Rises stars Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Juno Temple, Josh Pence, Daniel Sunjata, Nestor Carbonell, Matthew Modine, Tom Conti, Joey King, Brett Cullen, Chris Ellis and Josh Stewart.

Hollywood Comes to CMU

Carnegie Mellon will once again play host to Hollywood, when several scenes for a major motion picture by Warner Bros., currently using the working title “Magnus Rex,” are filmed outside of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) in late July, and inside and outside of the Mellon Institute in early August. Carnegie Mellon is working closely with the production company to ensure that the university and its students, faculty and staff will benefit from the movie-making experience with minimal disruption to normal operations.

Here's the skinny on the filming dates, the scenes and parking and traffic restrictions.

Where and When

Scenes will be filmed outside the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) at the intersection of Dithridge and Henry streets from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, July 30-31.

Scenes will be filmed outside of the Mellon Institute on the Fifth Ave. side from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday, July 31, and inside of the Mellon Institute's fourth-floor entrance lobby on Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 3-4.

Prep work for the filming will be taking place in both locations beginning July 11.

What Will Happen

Scenes outside the SEI, which will be portrayed as a prison, will include an explosion, a prison break, precision stunt driving, gunfire, atmospheric smoke, and controlled pyrotechnic explosions.

Scenes outside the Fifth Ave. entrance of Mellon Institute include a standoff between two rivals that escalates into a riot. One character drives a motorcycle through the fourth floor lobby, out the front doors and down the steps onto Fifth Ave. Special effects include precision stunt driving, gunfire and atmospheric smoke.

Filming at Rock Airport outside Pittsburgh:

Quote:
A black-frame vehicle appearing to be rigged for filming was seen driving up and down the runway in the late morning, accompanied by a silver van. A yellow vehicle described as a "dragster car" also was seen traveling on the runway with the same silver minivan. Also seen was a flatbed truck carrying two scissor lifts.

New information regarding stadium football scene in Pittsburgh:

Quote:
* It will be a late fall to winter scene in Gotham City...
So we're going to need everyone to wear a coat or jacket that they can take off between scenes.
Dress for hot weather under the coat.
If you have any coats or jackets that are "gold and black", please bring them, otherwise dark or black jackets or coats work.

*Absolutely NO ONE WILL BE ADMITTED WEARING ANY LOGO'S, OF ANY KIND.
This includes anything, nothing that is Steeler's related or Batman or Dark Knight or Sport Team, or Company related etc.
You will not be allowed to enter the set with anything you have with you that has a Logo. You will have to go home if wearing logos.
It's a very serious legal thing for the filming of Dark Knight Rises.

*Looks like they're going to allow us to make signs to bring and wave. That's only if you want to bring one of course.
This is only if it sounds like fun for you.
We're waiting for final word on that, as well as what the signs can say.

*No one under 14 will be admitted. There is NO EXCEPTION to this. None. Zero. Don't even try.
Sorry for being so intense on this, but the Production People have told us to be sure to let everyone know this:
That are no exceptions that will be made about this.

*About the Weather: It will probably be VERY HOT and SUNNY. So dress lightly under the coats you're bring to be in the scene.
Well be removing the coats between scenes.
No One Wearing Shorts will be admitted onto set, even though hot. Just wouldn't match the scene.

*More about Weather:
Production is asking you to: Bring an umbrella with you to keep the sun off of you during breaks in filming.
Bring Suntan Lotion with you.

•More On Weather:
Looks like THEY ARE FILMING RAIN OR SHINE (as long as there's no lightning going on).
Truth is, hey, this is Gotham City... and Gotham as you remember from past films is a Very Very Moody Place.
So, whatever the weather Dark Knight Rises IS filming.
If it starts raining too hard we will move under the stadium overhangs to keep dry till it lets up.
WOW, WHAT AN ADVENTURE OF REAL MOVIE MAKING. This is really what it's all about.

And Hey, It's The Dark Knight Rises after all. How cool is all this.

*The first scene of our filming day is the kick off scene.
And from what we're hearing we're in for some really special surprises as to who's on the Gotham Rogues football team.
We'll keep you posted as we hear more about this.
We still don't know which of the cast will be on set that day.

PPS:
OH MY GOODNESS. OH MY GOODNESS. DID I SAY OH MY GOODNESS.
We just received a phone call from The Dark Knight Rises about a new prize being added.
In 25 years this prize has Never been givenby a film.
Ready for this.
ONE OF THE GRAND PRIZES AT THE END OF THE DAY IS... DRUM ROLL PLEASE...

***Air fare, Hotel and Tickets for two people to attend. Ready now.... The US Premier and After Party of the Dark Knight Rises.
Not sure yet if it's in LA or NY, but hey doesn't matter does it... ya got free air fare.
Must be 18 and over to win this for legal reasons, though you can pass it on to someone in your family to use.
