Im catching up on the series and up to issue 4. Why is Johnny Storm's hair black and why is he with the X-men? Also is that kid Ultimate Maggott?

Yes that is ultimate maggot. I don't follow Ultimate Spiderman but I remember Johnny didn't want to be at the baxtor building anymore so Aunt May let him stay with them. Not to raise suspicion she dyed his hair black and calls him Peter's cousin Johnny Parker. Iceman also joins them.

thanks. Ive been catching up and I see Pietro is seeing Wanda and Mags. Im wondering if they are really back from the dead or if he's just crazy. Im leaning on the latter

Has it gotten better since issue 5? I really liked the first issue but the whole thing with Stryker just kept draggin on and on and felt like it was going nowhere.

No, he was introduced long ago, then became a part of Emma Frost's mutant school, and was believed to have been killed by Stryker's goons during Ultimatum.

I've been catching up with the Ultimate universe, am finally on Ultimate Comics X-Men 5 and i must say that Stryker really seems like his turning into another Magneto more than Quicksilver, he tries to comit genocide, will even go as far as to turn on others that are not mutants, says he actually loves mutants but is still killing them, causes great destruction along with his other psycho followers and will use the will of god as his escuse, repeating phrases from the Bible.

Somebody just need to arrest him and show videos of Magneto acting the exact same way, maybe that would wake him up. The whole Ultimatum was Magneto thinking he was doing the will of god.

Just started reading this since it was "restarted". Spencer's doing a good job and I loooooove Medina, this book reminds me of how it used to be until the Magician arc.

Spencer wrote an awesome title during his tenure on the book. I don't get the Spencer hate I've read.

He said it wasn't going to be a typical superhero/X-Men book, and it wasn't.
