I had new characters introduced for a reason, not just so they could be in the movie to only appease fans, they'd be part of the story.
While I would have made the Cure look temporary, it would actually lead up to being the Legacy Virus in my new trilogy. Cyclops' body would have been found by Alpha Flight, and Pyro would be leading a new Brotherhood with a big finale at the White House with a Sentinel prototype.

I wouldn't try to bring Jean back, Xavier would be an after credits scene at most for me.

My idea for X4.

Three years after the battle against the Brotherhood of Mutants in Alcatraz Island, humans and mutants finally appear to be co-existing in peace. Xavier's School For Gifted Youngsters is still active, run by Storm and Wolverine, and the X-Men are now formed by Wolverine, Storm, Iceman, Colossus, Kitty Pryde and Angel. Rogue has given up her powers, but still pilots the Blackbird and assists the team providing intel during the missions. Beast, as the Secretary of Mutant Affairs in the White House, keeps in touch with the team as well.

One day, the X-Men are approached by Nightcrawler, who had discovered about a secret society of odd-looking mutants, the Morlocks, who live underground, in an abandoned sewer line in New York City. The Morlocks are tormented by Dr. Nathaniel Essex, a mutant geneticist who has been capturing the Morlocks to harvest their organs in the black market through his organization, the O-Men, which include his soldiers, the mutant Marauders.

Essex is know as "Mister Sinister" by the Morlocks, and plans to turn the Mutant Cure into the Legacy Virus, eliminating the "weak" and using the survivors - the "strong" - as the basis for the creation of the ultimate mutant: Apocalypse. The X-Men need to stop Essex and save the Morlocks. To assist them, the X-Men accept Jubilee, a rebellious student of the Xavier Institute, and Gambit, a repentant Marauder, as members of the team.

I did have it mostly typed up on my old laptop but since it crashed it was lost, and I couldn't find the sections I've shared on here(along with Sims 2 models I made) forever ago. But I still have the unfinished outline of it written on paper.

I was also going to introduce Angel Salvatore in a small student sized role ala Jubilee.
I also introduced Banshee, and I can still make it work for a real X4, just gotta change him from starting off in the Brotherhood.

Man I should type it up and share it sometime in my art thread or something.

Assuming Cyclops and Storm as Children aren't just easter eggs for fans.The Events of Bryan Singer's films may be reconned as taking place In the early 1990's.In the second part of First Class trilogy a new X-Man IS brought In which Beast,Banshee,and havok Vs Magneto and his Brotherhood(Mystique,Angel Salvatore,Azarel,Riptide,and Emma Frost) and will likely be set at end of 1960's or beginging of 1970's.In thrid and final part of trilogy they move closer to first X-Men.This Is when some of characters from First Class will be dropped for bringing more from past X Films.Third film might take
place In mid or late 1970's If the Cyclops and Strm brief appearances are meant to be literal.I got feeling that It will be X-Men Brotherhood for the sequels.People wanting the Sentinles would have to wait for X4.

And as I have said people should stop assuming anything In The Last Stand has any bearing on what Is planned for future of franchise.

I do hope there will not be a X4, but rather a sequel of FC instead; I don't want a sequel based on the aftermath of The Last Stand, with the death of Cyclops, Jean, and Professor Xavier*. If Vaughn is willing to make more sequels based on FC, then by all means let him continue to do it.

*Yes, I know Xavier is in another body, but that doesn't change the fact.

I don't think an X-4 will happen until this new series take from First Class finishes to where it would mesh with X1.

I would like a sequel to 'X2' just because I really want that epic war that they've always referred to. But I also want sequels to 'First Class'. I don't see both happening.

Honestly, I'm done with my wishes for the OT. X3 happened, it won't be ignored, chances are X4 wont happen till after FC sequel's, and by then, will any of the cast feel like returning? Doubtful.

Hugh Jackman would. I bet he hopes that if he dies before old age kills him its while filming a Wolverine or X-Men movie

I like jackman as wolverine, really I do, I can't imagine someone else as the character, but he's gotta give it up or grow tired at one point.

Since this is the new and speculation thread anyone read the bios for the characters on the 'First Class' website some of them seemed to tell who will and wont live by the end of this movie.

I think if X-Men: First Class flops.

I think they should just make it a duology and not a Trilogy. So for the next movie, they'll explain how Jean Grey, Cyclops and Storm came to the X-Men. How Magneto met Sabretooth and Toad. And after that they should just make a successful X-Men 4.
