It's not right...which shows that he doesn't care enough to even look up the running time and do research about the movie he is watching. He even makes fun of the name, Magneto.

Is a review such as that one going to count on RT? Because at least Armond White elaborates in detail.

This guy talked about the actual film in one sentence! Everything else was *****ing and moaning on random stupidity!

Yeah, I checked. He has a RT account, so eventually he'll submit it.

Ah well, the New York Post loved it. Another top critic.
Magneto’s magnetic creation tale shows why movie’s mistreated mutants are freakin’ great

Yeah he got the running time wrong, lol. They called him out on it in the comment section. Oh well, can't please everybody. TBH, I wasn't even expecting it to review this well for so long. I expect it to drop down though anyway by Friday. Hopefully it settles in the high 80s at the very least.

The New York Post review cut McAvoy out of the group picture and barely mentioned Xavier. F.A.I.L.

The Salon critic seemed very pretentious, I think he are mad at sequels and prequels. I read another article on their site complaining about the stupidity of American people going to see the Hangover 2. They are a very elitist site and don't give them much attention.

Overall, “X-Men: First Class,” which is based on a story by Sheldon Turner (“Up in the Air”) and Bryan Singer, looks fabulous, demonstrates a highly evolved pop movie sensibility and is the best “X-Men” movie since Singer’s “X-Men” (2000). McAvoy and Fassbender bring genuine acting chops to their roles, and while Jones displays the same blank affect she brings to “Mad Men,” she is something to look at. Jason Flemyng’s Hellboy-ish mutant Azazel is a fierce creation, while Zoe Kravitz’s dragonfly-winged Angel is frankly a bit silly. A few other quibbles aside, this is the Ferrari of mutant-superhero movies. Just call me “mutant and proud.”

LarsOnFilm will be negative too. I kind of wish they had dropped these reviews first and got them out of the way.

Detroit News gives it a C-.

That's 5 negatives.

The NY Post, Huffington, Red Eye, and First Showing.net give it a positive but they have not been uploaded yet to RT.

I hope this can stay in the high 80s.

I just watched this movie today. I liked it much more than X-Men 3. There are great moments of friendship betweeen Charles Xavier and Erik. Mystique gets a lot of character development. If people didn't think Kevin Bacon would be a great Sebastian Shaw, well it's not the same comicbook Shaw, but he's truly an evil villain. The action sequences were also great. I don't care if Storm didn't get her due in her flight scenes. This movie delivers great flying characters at twice the action.

The only real flaw I have with this film was how rushed it was. The plot really was good and could have gone another fifteen minutes longer in development. What didn't work for Watchmen would have worked for this film.
