I agree we need different enemies. After Halo 3 it might seem odd to have the Covenant as an enemy still and the Flood is just stupid.

yeah they are a very underwhelming enemy IMO. There was always just a lot of em. Once you figure out how to take them out they aren't really a threat.

I wouldn't be surprised if we get different enemies. The Flood was pretty much wiped out and the Covenant has been done.

They're not really that scary and horrific, and once you heard the voices, you weren't scared at all.

You know what I find hysterical?

People have been begging for Halo: CE multiplayer on XBox Live for years. Instead, they get a remake of the campaign with the Halo: Reach multiplayer including Halo: CE mapz!!!11 (Wait... I thought that was what Forge was for...)

Essentially, they're buying a $40 map pack.

Seriously though, all Anniversary is a simple update... did anyone REALLY expect this game to get a full fledged multiplayer that would go up against Reach multiplayer?

Do the PS3 HD Collections get fleshed out MP added in... No.

I don't care, I want to go through this game again that lets me go online with co-op and allows me to get cheevio's. That's all.

Wanting a fleshed out MP aspect to this game, by November is asking a bit much... again, more so when people still play Reach.

I feel like we'll get the Forerunners and maybe Precursors - hopefully the Covenant (Elites, Grunts and Hunters) will be back and on our side in Halo 6 once the enemy threat grows. I'm assuming MC is headed to Onyx where he'll find the missing Spartans and the Doctor from Reach. At the end, they'll escape the planet, and lead a new corrupted race of Forerunners to our planets. In Halo 5, I'm assuming they'll make contact with the humans once again, continue fighting the Forerunners, and then once they are about to lose Earth, the Covenant (led by Arbiter) come to our aid. Halo 6 is an all out galactic war.

Also, if we get a corrupted Forerunner alien enemy race, I'm guessing the Precursors will somehow be involved - maybe the FR will try to revive them or their technology or something similar to how the covenant tried unlocking the FR tech.

The anniversary edition will make Halo marathons much more bearable going from Reach to CE.

I would really like Halo 2 style play. I enjoyed Halo 3 and I really quite like Reach, but nothing has come close to Halo 2. I was a die hard Halo 2 fan. I was only an occasional fan of the others. Halo 2 was that much better than the rest of the series.

This is the reason MS won E3 IMO. Well this & the fact that Sony announced nothing new (best announcement was Sly 4, but the Sly collection hinted at that) & WiiU is freaking weak. Nowhere near as cool as the leak made it seem.

I hope this game has a separate Arbiter campaign ala Halo 2. I think it'd be cool to see Arbiter leading the UNSC & Elites to wipe out the remnants of the Covenant.

Dude, you might adore the Halo franchise, i´m also a big fan, but MS doesn´t even deserve to be in the same sentence as "Won E3".

All press conferences were underwheming, i give you that, but none came as low as to make nothing more than a live advertizement to Kinect.
Their slogan was: Buy Kinect, make us richer

Sony´s was only better because they didn´t try to shove anything down our throats.
Their low point was the move, which sucked ass.

Nintendo was underwhelming, as they only showed 5 games, all of them in trailer form; but they did what they should and everyone was expecting, focusing on the 3DS and the new console.
The 5 3DS games are solid ones for the holidays and will sell units, i was expecting more emphasis on Mario 3D, as it´s their biggest title and brand, but still....
As for the Wii U, it´s too early too tell, they only showed what it can do.

I sure hope Halo 4 brings some fresh new life into the franchise. Halo has been a very bumpy ride. Every game besides CE was overhyped IMO. I love the first Halo, still play it to this day. No Halo game seems to be able to surpass the original.

After Halo 3 everything else Halo-related seemed dumb. Reach was definitely a step up and I think better than the third game perfect way to end Bungie's run. Unless I see something new and inviting to this "new trilogy" you can count me out.

As I said before, they need to get back to the more simplified MP of Halo 2. Reach over complicated things and IMO took a lot of the fun out of the game. The campaign was fine, but the MP in Reach left a lot to be desired.

"Story wise" I enjoyed every Halo, and they all made sense to me. MP wise, yes... 2 still shines above the rest.

You're right, the campaign mode on all of the Halo games are always fun (even the Arbiter stuff in Halo 2), but Halo 2 MP is where it's at.

What gives me high hopes about the MP being more "Halo 2" than "Halo Reach" is that 343 are all ex Bungie guys that worked on Halo: CE and Halo 2.

So... Yeah. Here's hoping that 4 feels like 2... just fleshed out more with create-a-Spartan option.

Also.. I wonder if we'll still get Elites in MP?
