Amazon has shipped my order. Cant wait. I saw a video earlier of the police station walk through and it looked just like i remember it looking from RE2.

Yea, based on their early previews, they didn't like it at all. I knew they were going to give it a low score. A quick browse through the interwebz tho and it seems their score is lower than most. Game Informer gave it a 6.

My copy hasn't arrived yet, so ill find out later today how good, or bad, the game is.

I expected somewhere around the 4 or 5 range. They really didn't like it in their early previews. My copy still hasn't arrived. UPS needs to hurry the hell up.

It's slant 6...they made the worst Socom game.. SO...

On the bright side, the Silent Hill Collection scored a 9..and that's what I brought home today.

Dumbass UPS shipped my game to the wrong house. Finally got everything straightened out tho. Gonna hop for a bit and see how it is. Ill post some impressions later.

Just got done playing the first two levels. Its not bad, but its nothing special. I HIGHLY recommend playing with other people, your squad mates blow ass.

The game is pretty fun when you are fighting against zombies, however, when you're going against other human enemies, its just frustrating. They absorb WAY too much damage. Hell it take more shots to kill a human than it does a damn zombie.

There are some cool "classic zombie" type moments. Trying to make your way to the objective when there are swarms of zombies around is pretty neat.

Like i said, i dont feel the game is bad, its just extremely generic, even with the RE enemies. However i will say that if I'm ever in the mood for zombie shooting, ill be playing this over Left 4 Dead.

I hope more people on my friends list pick this up, because the co op is pretty fun.

man I'm late to day. ok as I said in another post in another thread I don't take ign as the be all end all of reviews. I look at alot of other reviews for an over all picture. cause unfortunately Ign's main reviewer tends to be short sited. he may be playing a game that was obvious he was never gonna be into to begin with. Cause it's not his style of game. they do have other reviewers . and I still listen to them but if i notice that, in the way their sounding it's kinda hard to take him at his word at times. which why i do the over look with others to get different perspectives.

if the other review sites are seeing the same issue how ever. then yes there is some thing wrong with the game.

I think 70's pushing it.

If i had to give it a number based on what iv played. Id say its around 6. I haven't come across anything bad about it(other than the bullet sponge enemies and dumb AI), its just not very fun overall. Theres some cool moments, but like i said, its about as generic a TPS as iv played.

It saddens me to read these reviews. I love Resident Evil and I collect anything RE obsessively so I'll probably buy this, I just hoped it was better.

that saddens me bc performance of this game means we most likely will never get a Resident Evil Outbreak 3 (I was really hoping Capcom would revive that )

Yea, it sucks because this was a really neat concept. Wait, why does that sound familiar? Oh, yea, RE: Outbreak.


I will say this to anyone who is a huge RE fan, playing this game with 3 other buddies can still be a LOT of fun. I was able to team up with a buddy and his two friends tonight and i actually had a lot of fun playing the game. I mean the enemies still absorb wayyy too much damage and are dumber than a brick, but there were some great moments of panic as my team got swarmed by a bunch of walkers.

Can't say I disagree with that. Iv been having more fun with this than they did, but everything they mentioned about design flaws, iv witnessed.

Yea I'm right there with ya man, but this is one time i can say they aren't really wrong. I wouldn't give the game a 4, as iv had more fun with it than that, but overall its not a well made game. Co-oping with 4 players can be a blast tho. The MP is just frustrating as it all boils down to has the better gun, skill plays no part in it.
