X-Men Origins: No More?

X-Men Origins was supposed to become a new x-men film series with x-o: Magneto and X-O: Wolverine, and then with X-O: First class too, but now with the critical reception of wolverine they seem to have droped the idea of doing such a thing.
First class droped origins title, and The Wolverine droped it too.
Is X-Men Origins: Wolverine the first of an aborted project?
I sincerely think they could try to use other characters with a good script.
or they could reboot x-o wolverine with a better version of his origins.

It looks like it's dead, which is fine by me as it was a horrible decision.

The Wolverine and Deadpool are better off avoiding any relation to XOW, and Magneto's origin was obviously folded into First Class.

We don't need spinoff origin films for every marginal character.

The Wolverine is going to be a one off. Neither a reboot, nor a proper sequel. That's exactly what it should be. Let the Wolverine movies go off in their own, unrelated direction.

Deadpool is far enough removed from the X-Men universe that he shouldn't be connected to the X-Men movies. I think the character in X-Men Origins: Wolverine could be salvaged, but whatever if they don't.

Well X-Men First Class was like X-Men Origins: Professor X and X-Men Origins: Magneto combined. And since when X-Men Origins became the new film series?

Before XOW bombed, it looked like the "X-Men Origins" subtitle was to be attatched to all of the upcoming projects at the time (Magneto, Wolverine 2, Gambit).

You could assume that if XOW didn't suck, First Class would have had it as well.

I think they might use it for Deadpool, as it's been referred to as X-Men Origins: Deadpool in some reports.

It's convenient for tying the film into the franchise as a whole.

They weren't considering it for any other characters, only Wolverine and Magneto.

I was just flipping through my cable's listings...and later today the FX channel is showing X-Men Origins: Wolverine again....but they have it listed as X-Men Origins (Deadpool).....

Lol. I noticed that as well, I was going through the channels and I was like wait. What? I turned it on and it was right at the moment Deadpool started to attack Wolverine.

Tonight the cable lists it as X-Men Origins (Japanese).....so apparently they are playing the different endings and telling you which one it is. That's actually kind of nice of them to do.

I've seen X-Men Origins:Wolverine 3 times and I haven't seen the Japanese ending yet.Now that they have new titles,I'll make sure I see the one I keep missing.

In my DVD affter the credits there appear first the unnecessary WIlliam Stryker ending (that starts a storyline that won't be even continued) and then after the final credits there's the deadpool ending (one that was actually a good thing that they put it on film but that the producers said would be no longuer canon)
And the only ending that was going to be canon with The Wolverine is on the deleted scennes which is the japanese bar ending.
I just read that X-Men Origins: Deadpool comic where he talks with hollywood screenwriters and end up making a movie full of explosions instead of the one with Drama and black comic that was supposed to be
