Is that a joke about Stephanopoulos being short? Cuz if it is, well played good sir.

I did see Kristanna Loken, who is as gorgeous as she seems and seemed to be having fun. Linda Blair wasnt far away and I think she wanted to scream.

In May of 2003 my next door neighbor is an assistant director, and he was working on Van Helsing (terrible movie I know) he invited us on set, got to meet all the main cast. And spent almost an hour talking with Hugh Jackman. Honestly, I have met other celebs, Arnold and a few others I met at E3 in 2003. But Hugh was one of the most down to earth and nicest guys I'd ever met. However Kate Beckinsale was kinda snobby.

Hmm as far as celebrity encounters go
not sure if it counts, was at the Lady Gaga concert last year, where we were seated in the arena was almost behind the stage (they had screens all around the arena) we saw gaga walk out to backstage, we screamed out to her and she looked up and waved.

i've met shannon noll (runner up of the first season of australian idol)
Jewel Staite (serenity/stargate atlantis) at a comic convention in 2008
Hayden Panettiere the year afterwards, very nice down to earth girls

i also met James Kyson-Lee (Ando from heroes) in the bathroom of the convention i met hayden at lol
very nice guy, he had a smile on his face the whole day and looked really happy to be there

Sandra Bulloch came into the Best Buy I was working in, in the late 90's. I was outside on break and she was walking out with her handler. A guy walked up to her and asked her for an autograph, but she declined. As she was walking away from me, I noticed she had the biggest calves I have ever seen on a woman.

If I was famous, I wouldn't sign autographs either. Never understood the practice. Unless you're gonna forge their sigs and steal some money from them or get a couple of cars in their name, whats the point?

No, I'll just give you a big wet tongue kiss. That beats a signature any day if you ask me.

I've met over 80 celebs at conventions over the years.....here's some that stood out -

Felix Sila (Twikki from Buck Rogers)...I was at a weekend long convention in Indianappolis, after the show was over for the day, I was sitting in the Hotel lobby deciding what to do. Felix walked up and recognized me from earlier, he started a conversation and we sat there for about an hour and a half talking about family, traveling, and the like. I didn't bring up anything about the movies and Tv shows....we just talked regular stuff. He really seemed to like that. He's a quiet, shy kinda guy.

Erin Grey (Colonel Wilma Deering from Buck Rogers)...she was at the same convention with Twiki. When I was at her table to get an autograph, she saw that I had arthritis in my hands. She got up, came around the table, and for the next 20 minutes of so held and massaged my hands as we talked about arthritis and different things to do for your health. Very friendly, lovely lady.

Marc McClure (Jimmy Olsen in the Superman movies)...He was the celebrity guest at the Superman festival in Metropolis Illinois one year. Early in the morning, many hours before he was scheduled to talk and then sign autographs, I was wandering around looking at things when a guy asked me to take a pic of him in front of the giant Superman statue. It was Marc. We wandered around for awhile talking about things and I took pics of him with his camera in front of different Superman things that are there. Later, at the question and answer panel he pointed out to me and said "Hey Calvin....I know you have some questions....speak up." Very friendly down to earth kind of guy.

Former Atlanta Braves pitcher, Tom Glavine, almost ran over my foot once. I don't know why. I was only knocking on his car window trying to get an autograph.

James O'Barr used to go to my local comic book shop on a kind of regular basis. I have a couple of signed Crow books.
