I have 3 ideas in order to make a fan film and im not sure which one to pick. what i wanted to do is try to do my own separate pre-origin story or sequel to a Jim Carrey film and heres what i thought of:
Ace Ventura: Child of the Wild: The origin of the pet detective and how he grew to his career The Return of the Mask: Loki returns The Mask to Stanley Ipkiss in order to stop the Son of the Mask (Alvie Avery) from exposing the powers to all of Edge City The Revelation of Bruce Almighty: Bruce heads out for the big news stations, using God's powers once again for time travel in order to fix his mistakes |

I like all the ideas each have some good potential.
If you were to do 'The Return of the Mask' I'd avoid the Son of the Mask and just make it a sequel from the original. Regarding the Bruce Almighty plot. Time Travel can be confusing and iffy if not done correctly. The easiest to do would probably be Ace Ventura. (P.S. If you are a fan of Daredevil i'd appreciate you checking out the start of my screenplay and offer your opinions!)

I think that you should start off with the Ace Ventura prequel.
You can start the character off how you see fit the story would be then having him go on a journey that gets him into who he is by the first Ace film. With The Mask the character of The Mask is already established (as well as Stanley) therefore you have to maintain that quality for your sequel, which could be challenging. Thanks for the title suggestion I may yoink that! I never realised you commented yesterday, thanks for going back never the less. I appreciate it.

Why don't you make a Mask film that's similar to the comics? I don't think I've seen anyone do that.
