I wonder how Mike is gonna get out of this one, and how the writers are gonna get rid of Jenny.

Well I don't want them to get rid of Jenny. I like her. I'd like her added to the main cast. It's not like she's done anything wrong. Rachel was always pushing Mike away, and then once he's with Jenny she makes her move. She only wants what she can't have, or only thinks he's validated as a potential partner when someone else (ie Jenny) is with him.

And maybe Trevor is actually going to tell Jessica something else, or maybe Harvey calls Jessica and she gets distracted and so Trevor can't do the deed. Who knows how Mike will get out of this?

Any idea when this returns exactly?

That's a long time, and that's the problem with these short seasons which are almost like half seasons. At least with something starting in September, it runs until the summer and there's only a few months until the next September.

I too am wondering what Harvey and Donna needed a can opener for. My mind kept trying to think of sexual things but came up with bupkus. Besides, that's not the kind of relationship they have.

Rachel is so damn cute but so is Jenny. Arrrg!

It was great to see Louis try to have a backbone with Jessica until she brutally broke it..."Litt, Nobody, and Nothing". OUCH!

I found it odd that Trevor would go to Jessica rather than have it out with Mike. I think Trevor is going to tell Jessica that Mike was a drug runner or something rather than telling her about the whole fake lawyer thing. If he does tell her about being a fake lawyer I can't imagine Jessica not firing Mike and Harvey or at the least removing Harvey as a senior partner and making Louis the new senior partner.

I hate these 13 episode seasons also and then waiting a year for the show to come back. Just do the damn 22 episodes and stop with the long wait in-between seasons. It really breaks the momentum and continuity of the show for me because I forget so much during the breaks and I never have time to watch all the episodes again.

I think trevor will try weasel his way into the firm ,he will see it as an opportunity to make some money,and at the same time blackmail Mike and Harvey. This whole ratting out his friend seems predictable imo.

Yeah, it might be a red herring that Trevor is going to tell Jessica about Mike not really going to Harvard and not being a real lawyer. That would end one of the central premises of the show, and would occur far too soon. He said earlier in the episode that he was working for some law firm. Maybe he's going to try to work for Jessica or will tell her about something relatively more trivial than Mike's big secret.

I wish he would disappear from the show though. I don't know if his storyline really adds anything to it. All these episodes without him were fine and his presence wasn't missed.

Now Jenny is another matter. I like her. She's cute, and she should be added to the main cast.

BTW, nice to see Chi McBride turning up in something again after the cancellation of Human Target.

I felt the finale felt a bit rushed.......it seems like it would have been better served over the course of 2 eps instead of 1.

but, all in all, I liked the ep and I've really enjoyed the show this season.

it's just too bad we all have to wait a whole year to find out what happens next.....

plus, as others have said here, the "pretense" is the central premise of the whole show.

at some point it will come out. but, to come out at the start of the 2nd season seems a bit too soon.

depending on the # of seasons planned, I could see the big reveal happening at the end of the 2nd season or start of the 3rd.......

Great to see Chi McBride in there, hopefully he makes some more appearances.

Harvey and Mike going the route they went to get justice was awesome, the banter between the two never ceases to make me smile, one of the best mentor/protege relationships ever.

Harvey and Donna, Mike and Jenny, Donna and Louis, Rachel and Donna were all great scenes, Donna's look as she talked about why her and Harvey have never hooked up was telling, but the stand out scene pairing was Jessica and Louis, damn that woman is an Amazonian lawyeress!

Well I suppose the show could do with a consistent villain, which Trevor would fulfil that role, even though I'd just as soon see him leave. Louis doesn't really fill that role. He's more of the resident douchebag.

I hope nothing happens to Jenny, or that she doesn't somehow turn bad and side with Trevor because of Rachel. Jenny seems like a sweet girl.

1.Agreed,Reminds me so much of Batman and Robin (Dick Grayson)

2.The way he was dressed was what made me think he is there for a Job,also given the slight comedic aspect of this show I wouldnt be suprised if Jessica makes Trevor Lious's assistant, I think that could be quit amusing.

Trevor and the DA that Harvey and Donna took down could provide consistent bad guys for the show.

I think in the end she will side with Trevor because Mike will end up with Rachel, the chemistry is there.

Heh, well in the first ep Mike alluded to that and Harvey said "Don't move your stuff into Wayne Manor just yet."

That's a very possible route they could take, which is a bit of a shame as that other douche that hates Mike was already fulfilling that role pretty well.
