Who is this winking teen you ask? This is Jerzon Senador and he pissed some people off.

A cruel prank carried out by a teen in the Philippines has raised the hackles of animal lovers from around the globe, drawing fire from advocacy groups and prompting a coordinated multi-agency manhunt.

Jerzon Senador posted the above picture of his puppy on Facebook, saying that he decided to try hanging his dog on a clothesline because he was bored. The teen boasted that there was no way he would get into trouble for just “washing his dog.”

When animal lovers on Facebook saw Senador’s photo of the dog dangling in his back yard from five clothespins attached to its coat they were outraged: local animal rights groups were contacted, and the story made national television news in the Philippines. After the television appearance sparked a wave of criticism and threats, Senador decided take down the pictures. He posted an apology shortly thereafter. ‘To all animal lovers and to people all over the world please read this,’ he wrote.

‘I would like to ask for forgiveness for the wrong I’ve done against my dog. I hope you could forgive me and I promise it will never happen again.’

Reactions to his apology have been lukewarm at best, and many are still demanding justice, including the members of a new page on Facebook called ‘Jerzon Senador The Animal Abuser’.

‘Forgive? Never,’ wrote Melvin John Girado, who warned Senador that he was being hunted down by his college fraternity brothers.

The story caught the attention of the PETA, and the organization says it plans to investigate the matter. “We hope that Philippine prosecutors will take action and prosecute this young man,” said Peta legal officer Agnes Tam. “This is not child’s play, this is blatant animal cruelty.”

PETA, local police and other animal rights groups have collectively joined the hunt for Senador. According to his Facebook page, the teen is located in a suburb south of Manila. In the Philippines, cruelty to animals is punishable by up to two years in jail. Just last month a local student was fined £28 and given two months of community service for killing a cat.

He wouldn't have apologized had there not been such a huge fuss over it. He was only sorry because it became a big deal. Nevertheless, if I were the local coppers I would take his dog away and make sure he never is able to own pets again.

That dog is in the Philippines. He's lucky he's not dog meat. As long as he's not Michael Vicking the dogs, then a simple apology should be fine.

Im not justifying it, im just saying. We live in a country that allow people to kill animals for sport. Thats not look down upon is it? Im not a dog lover or a animal lover at all. What makes a dog better a cow? Or a lamb? Or a pig? A dog might be mans best friend but their still animals. And in some parts of the world their eaten just like those animals. A animal is animal. No matter if its pet or livestock. Where this person lives dogs are still widely eaten even though their banned. Most of south asia still eats dog. So what this kid did is NOTHING AT ALL. If this kid was killing, dogs and cats, then he'd have a problem. But he didn't even kill him. I wouldn't even call that torture. I wouldn't have even apologized if he didn't get those threats which is ridiculous. I mean this why I hate PETA. I really think sometimes that they value animals over humans. Their were many animal rights activist that wanted Vick to spend over 10 years in jail and they didn't want him to ever play football again. Now its crimes were ****ed up but losing your house, your money and two years of your career were enough for some crimes against some dogs. These people are worse than the people they try to stop. Vick definitely didn't deserve 10 years for dog fighting. Dead or not. He got the right amount of time as far as I'm concerned. I'm a huge dog lover but give the guy a break already.

And what exactly have you seen? You're probably around 16 years old. And that's not an insult. I can tell by your "opinions" on things. Michael Vick murdered dogs for a disgusting and sadistic sport. Anyone that defends it is likely a teenager trying to be cool.
