It's not a function of not wanting to give parts to capable Asian actors. It's a function of playing the political game so they don't miss out on a huge chunk of change with distribution in Asian territories.

How can you tell that his beard isn't clean? He's in shadow and there's a bit of light reflected from the hairs of his beard, but I didn't see anything to suggest that it's unclean.

Every time I get excited for this movie story-wise, something visual-related appears and keeps my excitement down. I don't like how he looks in that pic at all. Of course I'll wait for a full body shot or something, but when the villain in IM3 looks like what the Hobbit dwarves should've been...

Me too. My guess is that they'll have him in some type of containment suit, though. In reality, who would want to be around someone radioactive? He needs something to contain that constant radiation.
