Fair points on the Cap connection; but why on earth would it be a WWII helmet? That hasn't been seen in 70 years. Where and how would Mandarin have gotten his hands on it, and why?

He's obviously a collector of antiquities from the picture. Ancient Chinese art and such. Cap hasn't been seen in 70 years, but that didn't mean his legend dies, like Coulson collecting Captain America trading cards or Tony saying, "that's the guy my dad wouldn't shut up about?"

Mandarin is clearly a guy who wants to destroy people idolizing heroes, which is why Stark is his primary target.

Then explain why it is an N preceded by another letter which could be U on the helmet. A simple Google search will show you a bunch of UN helmets that don't have the UN on the side. It's not Cap's helmet.

Not saying you're wrong. It's a good theory, and you very well may be right. I just want to get a better look at that helmet (and whatever the dark blue thing is on the wall....looks too big to be a helmet) in a hi-res version of the poster; and I'd like to find out how Mandarin supposedly got hold of Cap's helmet before I fully buy into this theory.

So far, much of it is stuff no one can confirm yet.

Wardell also mentioned that Doctor Strange would be in the MCU, though he said it would be in Thor:TDW. And he mentioned that Marvel was after Viggo Mortensen for a role, which was later confirmed by Victoria Alonso in an interview with Collider. I can't say he's an oracle, but he's been onto some things well before the fansites have gotten wind of them. A big point in Wardell's favor is that he never trolled any website or touted his info; people just picked up on his Twitter account.
